1. Up for sale is my EA iAmp Micro 550W. This amp is ideal for bass players who want to hear the sound of their bass, or use two basses or an electric and an upright during a gig. A lot of people seem to describe it as a 'Hi-Fi' sounding head but I have found it quite natural sounding, presenting the tone of your bass with out imparting it's own tone. The amp sounds great, I have used it with an Aguilar DB112 NT cab (also for sale on here) which got me a great vintage, tight/punchy tone for 5 years playing functions, weddings etc. It also sounds great with pedals in front of it and have used a sansamp and a darkglass B3k with it when I've needed some grit. This thing has an amazing amount of low end - it's amazing, I have heard people complain that micro amps don't provide enough low end but that's certainly not the case with this head! The biggest plus point to this little amp is it's size and it's weight. It will fit in a gig bag pocket, back pack etc and it probably weighs less than a book of a similar size! i have even taken this on tour as a back up, although never needed it fit in a draw in a flight case with all the rest of cables/strings etc Due to the portability of the amp it has spent a lot of time been pulled in and out of gig backs, taken in and out of draws and has what I can best describe as rack rash - even tho it's never been near one! I've tried to take pictures to show the wear on it. Its a great amp for giggers, especially if you hate carrying big heavy gear around! Originally bought from the bass gallery in 2010, and is in full working condition - used it for a function on Saturday night! Any question please just drop me a message!
2. Up for sale is my Aguilar DB112NT in Classic Black I'm sure everyone here knows the quality of both the tone and cab build quality of Aguilar. The cab has a great punchy vintage tone whilst still remaining tight and focused. Overall condition is good, the cab has been used for functions/wedding gigs. cab is in full working order. The cab with the silver grill looks great on stage under lights! Sounds great recorded as well, was used by a producer friend when he did a session at monnow valley for a rocksound youtube series featuring a bunch of some of the bigger UK rock bands at the time. I actually sessioned for a band performing on it and the big ampeg fridge was all set up but the truth was everyone was actually going through this little cab! Never let me down, sounds great, super portable. I'm only selling as I'm after a more modern tone and a bit more volume for bigger gigs. Cab is in Cardiff
3. Lowest price I'll go now for this £750 - New would cost over £1600
4. Bump. Sold the head, now just need to shift this!
5. I think as far as I am aware and from what I can remember, the thunderverb was just used as a blend distortion amp along with a DI and the AD200b. The thunderverb can be used as a bass amp and I think QOTSA did use them like that - I think... I have a vague recollection of us trying it out in pre-production to see and from what i can remember it had a midrange type of tone and more saturated than the ad200b. It didn't blow me away, it did kinda just sound like a QOTSA type tone... I definitely preferred the AD200
6. Just a quick note - I am not looking for trades for this.
