Thanks, I keep that one in mind, but this time we need a Saturday night gig, as we'll all be heading back to various parts of the country after playing in Tavistock on the Friday. We won't fit into a regular pub, as we are a six piece with two drummers and take up a fair bit of room, so we can only play music venues or festivals really (having said that, we are playing the Half Moon in Putney tonight, and that's a pub!).
They do one off’s on Saturdays sometimes - try and talk to Steve Henwood...he wears tie dye!
Probably would just fit in there..with some squeezing 😳

Worth talking to The Bell in Walcot St, Bath. Music on Monday/Weds eve and Sunday pm. Also has a smaller room at the back for hire..

Definitely talk to Aguilar direct...good chance they will be more helpful than UK distributor.
I’d second the Ashdown RM500 suggestion, esp if you have the TH pedal, and like it 😎

I’m surprised too 😳

The shop is renowned locally...as being totally weird 🤪.

Bit odd...I’d be more than a bit suspicious. Not the place to sell unusual basses 😳
-
-
Do tell more...not heard of them 😳

I talked to Mr Bravewood a few years ago, and he steared me towards WD as a good current version. And yes, it’s worth the effort..bad tort is a terrible and far too common thing.
I do know of someone who grows his own, so to speak...and could be tempted to reveal his identity in a PM 😳

Last call before EvilBay......

Sold a cab to Stew - great communication, just like BassChat deals usually are 😎.

Great little DI with some unusual features and options.
Raven Labs was Steve Rabe’s next company, after he sold SWR. They only made a few products (small preamps, eqs DI boxes) and lasted five or six years before closing down.
This is a very high quality DI with both an active preamp and a passive transformer, for clean and noise free performance. Two switchable inputs, (10 megOhm) phase reverse, choice of four output levels and an effects loop, with blend.
Power from two 9v batteries lasts up to 100 hours. Has an input (stereo mini jack) for a power supply, but it’s an unusual +\- 9v format, so probably easier to use batteries.
Comes with original instruction booklet.
UK postage £5. Collection from Bristol/Bath area fine. Also on EvilBay, so might sell there first

That's the ticket... absolutely ace looking head. Actually severely tempted.
Would you part with the head/case on its own? And is postage an option?
Will PM later...there are options😜

Very sad to hear this today..he was a fantastic musician. I heard he recently had pneumonia, but thought he’d recovered 😳

It was in an SKB...still could be 😜

Forgot about this one 😳. Any offers???

I know this is deeply unfashionable stuff, yes it’s fairly heavy...Marcus Miller uses light amps now etc etc
All early 90’s pro kit in great condition. Comes with original manuals and suitable speaker cables (uses banana plugs for bridging power amps). Has toured but always had covers/cases. Sounds as good as you do 😜.
Happy to answer questions - collection makes sense (close to M4 J18 Bath/Bristol).

Thanks 😎.

The photos of the broken Tacoma are nothing to do with the bass I’m selling, other than as a caution against shipping acoustics without a hard case!
No local interest from the South West bassers?
Open to sensible offers, but no trades please. Life demands cash at the moment 😳
