1. Hi MBA,

Thanks very much for the advice. I had a Hohner Jack that was starting to go the same way, so assumed it was a common problem across these kind of bridges.

I'll have a crack at stripping the bridge and greasing. Many thanks for the offer r.e. the inserts - I'll let you know.

    Cheers

    Graham

NOW SOLD [s]Roland Piano Plus EP11

I have two of these. Early 80's analog electric pianos. These sound very quirky and come with built in drum sounds from the TR series (!).

They are also a useful source of spare parts for the more collectible Roland Synths of the period (same keybed as a Juno 60). I loathed to break these up for spares though.

1 of them is in good condition comes with the very rare original accessories - Roland gigbag, Keyboard cover and sustain pedal. £150 for this one

The other one is a little bit more sorry for itself cosmetically, but still working nicely. £60

  4. Hi Scrumpymike, and thanks for answering alyctes. Exactly as the man says - Paul Rose (Prose) was building basses in (I think) Lancashire a few years ago. Sadly I think he has stopped building which is a real shame since he did some really cool and interesting stuff - like this :-

    http://basschat.co.uk/topic/88228-prose-bass-short-scale-headless-price-reduction/

The fretless is a really excellent little bass - I'm only selling because as I say I hate nice instruments not getting used, and I've got my beaten up old Ibanez if the fretless urge overtakes me.

Forgot to say - this also has a very useful neutrik locking jack socket on it.

  5. Hi S

    Thanks.

Its a very cool thing - I used it for a couple of pub jams acoustically and its certainly got enough volume to sit behind an acoustic and vocals. i would say its slightly less loud than a double bass, but rather louder than any small bodied acoustic bass I have come across, its certainly got a lot more warmth and bottom end as well.

I woudn't want to put it up against a kit but that said - a little busking amp would give it enough to cut through most things at the low end.

    Dimensions

    Total Length = 49 inches

Width at widest point of body = 21 inches

    Depth = 5 inches.

    Cheers

    Gray
