1. Fender Rumble V3 210 cabinet - 2 weeks old, purchased new from GAK for £310. http://www.gak.co.uk/en/fender-rumble-210-cabinet-v3/111426?gclid=CLjpo-igqsUCFUL4wgodY2wAwg Bit of an impulse buy and don't really think I'm gonna use it. I have the 500 watt combo which I've decided to keep for smaller gigs and rehearsals, and I have my berg cn212 for bigger venues. £240 Based in Swindon Thanks Freddie
2. Hi guys, So here's the story; I have a 2007 USA Fender Jazz Deluxe 4 string and am looking to upgrade the preamp. I like the weight and size of this bass and can dial in a great sound for most part, however, I sometimes find it to be a bit brittle and harsh when slapping (for the pulls) and when I dig in - finger style. A couple of bass-chatters have recommended this particular pre - and I've had a look online at it as well as listened to various sound clips although its always hard to tell until you are in a live situation. I really like that you can switch to passive mode and that it apparently fits straight into bass with no mods required. Has anybody on else here changed the stock pre of a fender deluxe j to one of these and if so what were the results? It costs £200 so want to make sure its gonna be worth it! Is the passive mode any good? Also, I have no electrical experience but am good at reading and following instructions so is this something I could do myself relatively easy or should I just go pay somebody who knows what they are doing? Many thanks in advance! Freddie
3. Fantastic, thank you guys I will check it out. Kind regards Freddie
4. Hi, I have a USA Fender Jazz Deluxe 2007 model and am thinking of changing either the pick ups or the preamp - I'd be getting somebody else to do the work as I'm a novice at this! I really like the bass itself being lighter and slightly smaller body than other Jazz Basses I've played/owned but I've never been completey sold on the overall sound which can get quite harsh/brittle sounding when you dig in or slap (mainly the pops/pulls here). I have the graphic on the bass set flat. I was wondering if anybody has changed upgraded the pickups or the preamp and what results they got - ie better overall tone for finger style and slap?! So looking for some recommendations here!! Many thanks Freddie
5. Brand new condition and used only a couple of times from new. Fantastic amp, very loud at 4ohms and very light indeed. Will get some photos up this week. Based in Swindon Thanks Freddie
6. Purchased around 1 year ago from BassGear (Reading) for £950. Don't think this cab needs an introduction! Still in imaculate condition - best 212 I've owned. Comes with the original thick berg cover. Will put some photos up over the coming week. Based in Swindon Thanks Freddie

8.
I see a lot of people bit. tying an extension cab for these. I'm just wondering, is the combo on its own capable of being used for gigs.
Yes indeed, used it on a medium size pub gig last Saturday without needing to push it.
9.
I'm really interested as to how you find this - I went for the 115 following discussion over on TB - but I was very tempted by the 210.
Will report back on it. Was very tempted by the 115 but alot of the reviews on 115 I could find were back before the 210 was released - so thought I'd take a punt.
10. Just pulled the trigger on the 210 extention cab to go with the 500 combo! Heres hoping its a keeper!!

Yes, how does it sound? I've just purchased the 500 combo myself and not sure which extension cab to get for it. Thinking between the 210 or the 112. Also - adding to the weight could be the side handles?!
12.
Great amp, great price, great seller. Basically, you cant go wrong here ☺
Why thank you kind sir!
13. After lots of thought - I've decided to sell my GB Streamliner 900 with the official gig bag. Purchased new from Nevada music back in April/May 2013 for £660 + £40 for the gig bag. In very good condition other than for some light scratches on the top and there is also a small chip on the rear which I've tried to capture in the photos. Not sure how the chip got there as I'm ultra careful and protective of my gear. It also suffers from the common LED issue whereby they only come on around 50% of the time - purely cosmetic. I have a bag of replacement LEDs sent from Fender but never got round to having them fitted. Soundwise - fantastic sounding amp, never let me down and has power on tap. I swapped out the V1 tube with a JAN Philips 5751 which improves the tightness down low - and it works a treat. I'll include this as well as the stock tube in the sale. Price drop to £375 - no trades Based in Swindon Thanks Freddie
14. Indeed you can - its a NOS JAN Philips 5751 into V1. Thanks Freddie

17. Lovely condition and serviced back in November 2014. Used in conjunction with my Genz Benz Streamliner and sounds fantastic - especially for that old skool Jamiroquai tone. Trying to raise funds for something else now so have decided to sell it - no doubt I'll miss it. These are quite hard to find nowadays. Price drop to £250 for a fantastic bit of kit. Based in Swindon Thanks Freddie
