1. Hi, Decided to sell my fender Rumble v3 500 combo - only 6 weeks old from new. Purchased from GAK. Comes with Roqsolid cover which cost me the best part of £50. http://www.gak.co.uk/en/fender-rumble-500-v3/92779 Condition is 'as new' - only used a handful of time for rehearsals. Bit of an impulse buy - but have now decided to purchase something new from the Barefaced range (Super twin or Big Twin 2 - and need to raise the funds!). Great sounding and very loud! Great feedback for this product on both here and over on talkbass. Will get some pics up shortly. Based in Swindon. Price drop £380. Thanks Freddie
2. Thanks for advice this far guys. I just assumed that if changing to 4ohm which would then draw full power from the amp it might need some kind of mod to bracing. I'll shut up now - obviously a novice at this! :-)
3. Good point, can't see that they do. To add 2 8ohm drivers making the cab 4ohm I'm assuming would require some mods to the bracing of the cab? Thanks Freddie
4. Hi all, Has anybody on here upgraded the stock drivers in the fender rumble combos and were the results any good? I have the v3 500 combo and have read this upgrade makes a big difference. Also, do these drivers slot straight in or would any mods to cab need to be made? Thanks Freddie

6.
Sure you would not want any of my Baer's Freddie?
I am tempted Rich, although would prefer a single cab solution! Thanks anyhow.
7. I'm guessing its the side handles - which weigh heavier than the amp section?!
8. I have a v3 210 ext cab for sale in classifieds if anyone is interested - only 2 weeks old. Cheers
9. For sale is my 2007 USA deluxe jazz bass in mint condition - comes with the original hard case. Purchased from a fellow chatter back in September last year. This is a fabulous sounding and versatile bass - very light and has a slightly smaller body than a standard USA fender jazz. Newish strings and recent set up. Final price drop to £625 (sale only). Based in Swindon - willing to meet up within reason or can post at cost to buyer. Thanks Freddie
10. I'm having a complete gear rethink, and as a result I'm putting up my fairly newly aquired Littlemark 3 head. It comes with rack ears and is 2 months old - used no more than a handful of times. I purchased it new from GAK for £419 + £20 for the rack ears. Fantastic little head - very versatile and clean sounding. You are very welcome to come try it out. Would be interested in a part ex for an EBS HD350 or a Fafner I or ii, or Genz Streamliner 900 + cash your way. Price drop to £320. Based in Swindon. Thanks for reading. Freddie
11.
Whats the weight and can it be posted? Thanx
20kg - and yes, I can have it shipped and I have the original box and packaging so it will arrive as new. Thanks
12. As new, purchased from GAK a couple of weeks back. http://www.gak.co.uk/en/fender-rumble-210-cabinet-v3/111426 Sounds fantastic with the new Rumble Combo and looks the biz to. Price drop - £100 off the price I paid for it! Based in Swindon Thanks Freddie
13. Berg CN212 for sale with thick berg cover - less than a year old - and still mint! Will consider a trade for a GB Neox Nx2 + cash my way. Based in Swindon. Thanks Freddie

15.
I've just spent some ore time with a much higher output active bass and I can get it start hitting the threshold with a little bass boost and hitting an open E pretty hard. I'm running it side by side with a Demeter Compulator and an Aguilar TLC and neither of those are affected by this setting on the bass so I have to assume the Diamond does need that 18v power supply if you're boosting your signal at all and hitting low notes fairly hard. The 18v power supply should sort it for you
Thanks Molan Regards Freddie
16. Thanks guys, just purchased a standard 18v pedal adapter, will use with the supplied red cable. Used it at an indoor gig on sat at 9v and was fine, used it on an outdoor event yesterday - more volume needed and was distorting when digging in. Thank you all muchly for your help on this! Regards Freddie
17. Thanks for your input guys - I appreciate it. I may well look at an external preamp instead. Regards Freddie
18. Just a cheap one - think it cost about £25 with about 10 9v outputs. What would you recommend? Many thanks Freddie
19. Thanks Pete. Its definitely a voltage doubler cable I have. I might look at a better power brick.! Thanks Freddie
20. Hi, I've just purchased one of these pedals and am trying to power at 18v. The pedal comes with an 18v power adapter, - (however this is a 2 pin plug) as well as a 9v red cable. At 9v the thing can distort so am looking to power at 18v. Does anybody know if a standard 18v pedal power adapter will work? I purchased a voodoo lab y cable but not sure I understood the concept of the thing. I have a power brick and I thought by plugging the y end in to 2 of the power outs of the brick will give me 18v - however the pedal is not powering up when doing this. Any help appreciated here! Thanks Freddie
