1. you can have my Fernandes for your budget: 200 pounds i dont use it anymore... fred
 2.
I had similar difficulty finding what I needed in a travel bass so had a headless 30" scale made by Paul Rose (Prosebass). Couple of pics here - http://s1090.photobu...ms/i370/iankay/
NICE!!! cost price?
 3. I know everybody loves Fenders, but i dont sorry Great neck & body, but crappy hardware... But talking about basses is like comparing women. Very personal! In other words: Try them out & see what feels better
 4. Yamaha BB are great basses... start with a second hand... and build in Japan
 5. Hi, I have 2 travel basses:

Fernandez Nomad Travel Bass $499 (The Nomad Bass is a unique instrument to say the least! With its’ very short scale (“25 1/2”), and under the bridge Piezo pickup, it offers you another set of useful tonal options on stage and in recording situations, plus you can take it anywhere!)
ZON VB $2575 (Designed for portablility and ease of travel, this bass will fit in the overhead compartment of an airplane or behind the seat of a tour bus, making it ready to take anywhere you go)
Well its obvious what sounds better, the ZON, but nevertheless i like the speaker inside the Fernandes, playing unplugged electric if interested i could sell my Fernandes... hope this helps...
 6. I would go for the Music Man SUB! I would never buy a Squier:

what you see as price is what you get
build in china
the net is full of Squier for sale, so forget it to resell afterwards, huge price competition
lousy electronics
The problem as being a beginner is that your technique will be bad... So if you combine your technique with a cheap/bad instrument from starters, it will obviously sound bad Not very motivating... I also started with cheap basses build in china... not worth it... Go for basses build in the USA, UK, HOLLAND Hope this helps...
 7. I would go for the BOSS RC-300 also this is a great website reviewing looping pedals: http://looperpedalreviews.com/ hope this helps
 8. I have returned all my Behringer Pedals... They are cheap for a reason My prefered pedals are BOSS(ROLAND) & EBS...
 9. Hi, I have played with both the BOSS CH-1 CHORUS & the EBS UNI CHORUS (incl Flanger)... Although is the EBS twice the price as the BOSS... but its worth it!! Hope this helps

 15. hi bros, i know most bass players are using a Boss 10B pedal... i am searching for a multi pedal system... still in between the Boss 10B and the Line6 HD500 are you familiar with the 10B or HD500 pedals? used it before? or some bass friends who use it? it seems Line6 is more pro, but 10B seems more user friendly... not an easy choice fred
 16. ebay is a bad option to sell a bass ebay is great for buyers, not sellers...
 17. Hi bros, I also own an overwater perception dlx... One of my prefered basses Wide spectrum of tone!
