1.
Let's not be too sentimental over the way of his demise though. We didn't 'lose' him. At a time when the world had started to realise full well the damage drugs can do to people , Phil chose to carry on destroying himself - with how much regard for people that surrounded and loved him I don't know. If the difference between tragedy and the merely tragic is inevitability I don't regard his death as the former because he could have done something about it. He alone had control over what he allowed to become inevitable. Sorry Phil - you were the stuff of legend and a musical hero of mine - but you went and f***ed your life up , nobody else.
very well put indeed
also, when i boil my strings they seem to last much longer than they do when i take them out of the package new. i have been using DR Hibeams recently. sound great but last no more than ten days for me. I practice everyday but i don't gig right now. and guys, im not changing the strings often, i just have to deal with a dull sound for about 4 months and then ill change, but it would be nice if i didn't have to
dont boil try this http://www.tunemybass.com/strings/how_to_c...ss_strings.html denatured alcohol is what we call methylated spirits

Vista and it's just louping with popups and 'features'. Takes about a day to boot up all its irritating little bells and whistles.
very happy with vista on my pc, no pop-ups (except for this creative one) runs smooth and boots up in the blink of an eye
 14.
I have - it's the one of the most f***ing annoying things ever - thankfully it was on my Girlfriends mums pc so I don't have to deal with it - I spent a couple of hours trying to get it to go away and couldn't. Apparently it has something to do with Vista (doesn't happen on XP machines). .
you aint kidding!
