    Possibly of interest is the Superfly Editor:—

    This allows you to hook up the head to a PC & save presets, tweak the compression parameters & also gives access to a Parametric EQ if you prefer that to the front-panel graphic EQ. Sadly you can't do a bulk save, you have to save each preset individually. Works on XP, no idea if it'll play nicely with Win 7 or 8 though.

    The gain knob is weird, I grant you... but you can annoy guitarists by telling them that yours goes up to [i]15[/i] - that's like... [b]5[/b] more :D

    Brilliant Pete! downloaded it thanks, re knob, I had taken all outer shell and casing from amp to get a look at pot when I thought I better ask in Basschat first before I removed about a 100 screws.

    Manual for Ashdown Superfly

    Hi All, picked up a second hand Ashdown Superfly amp for back up, nice sounds and presets, only problem is I don't have a manual for it! I noticed that the Input volume pot keeps turning,in other words doesn't go from 1 to 10 then stop, the volume works but dial can go round and round forever? I think I have heard of pots like this before so manual would be handy just to see what this baby can do! If any of you know where to look online, or have an unwanted copy, I would appreciate your help.

    Hi folks,
    Picked up a second hand Ashdown Superfly head, great sounding wee amp, looking for instruction manual or can someone point me in direction of a relivant online site for above? Also noticed that one of the volume pots, think its input volume? Turns continually? In other words, turns clockwise round and round with no 0 to 10!

    Thanks guys! Like I said I'm using The Ashdown which is 4 ohm with 300w 8ohm PA cab for small gigs but thought about Hartke with selector which I could use for other set ups eg: extension cab for GK amp for double bass, also further down the line I could add another 4 ohm cab to get full power from Ashdown, 1000w head! Just don't want to drive amp too hard. Its a pain in the arse when you have to have different set up of gear.

    Hi Y'all, I'm looking for a smallish cab to go with my Ashdown Little Giant either a 2x10 or 15 inch must be 4ohm and at least 300w I have just spied a great looking wee cab with an very use able ohm-age selector switch from 4 to 8ohm at my local shop, its [font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif][color=#333333][size=3] [/size][/color][/font]The Hart[font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]ke [color=#333333][size=3]HyDrive HX112 [/size][/color][/font][font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]and ju[/font]st wondered if you guys knew of another make that uses a 15inch or 2x10 ideally with 400w power

    What's become apparent in this thread is there's a lot of old hippies out there, thanks to all who got back with suggestions.(SOME CRAZY ONES TOO! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!)
    I agree with Funkshui Dizzee Rascal does work but I cant see me doin no rapping bruv! Luv Monkeynuts input of [color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]Times Like These by the Foo's? even like Glen Campbells take on it.[/font][/color]
