The chain was in fact 2 songs joined together, Stevie Nicks had the vocal Part and Lindsay Buckingham had the instrumental part, but on their own, neither warranted inclusion on the album, so they bunged em together and voila! At least thats how I recall the 'Classic Album' series on TV relating it.

Nice work dude, mind you I've done a few miles in those old BR buses, think I'll stick with the company car from now on!
Oh and keep up with the build updates, its fun to read!! -
Tnx guys I actually have an old Sennheiser freeport at the moment when I'm quite happy with, I was just wondering about the differences

Ok silly question time...the tx is so small, and it plugs straight into the jack socket, whats the belt pouch for? Not being awkward, just confused

Arrrgh!! we had several calls last week to do that as an encore, only I knew it, so sadly the email I sent my band this week said exaclty that!! Oh the shame! -
Nice one, I work overlooking Marshalls, sometimes hear somebody famous wailing away in their lil demo room
Voted...good luck! -
Is it wrapped around the tuning peg the correct way? if wrong way on the peg there will be a greater angle pulling string to one side ie out of the nut. I know cos I haz dun it

Fri Night..another gig in Chesham..other end this time. Landlord was over the moon to get a rock band in as he is a fan of the genre, set up.... soundcheck....quiet as eff at far end of room (me on wireless wandering about) quiet until about 2 foot in front of PA then BAM, we had to play the whole evening with enough vol in our ears to make yer deaf in 1 go ( I had earplugs) Landlord kept telling us to turn up, he was luvvin it . It was damn sweaty too!
Played our last song, maybe an extra song? 45 mins later we have played most of 1st set again, a couple of back up numbers..... and jammed our way through Zep's Rock And Roll and Highway to Hell. A stonkin good night and he wants us back in Nov. result!
Sat I was too tired to breathe -
Another vote for Jimmy Lea (Slade) grew up with that sound and wasn't until I tried playing along that I realised just how difficult his lines could be! We cover a coupla Slade songs and I found it tough going for a while. ( mind you I AM a crap player!)

Mine turned up this morning..no pic yet fit is spot on, glad I listened to your advice Ped and just got the large, shame my gig was last night! Will wear it with pride at the next one!
Edit, it came 2nd class in a jiffy bag, nicely folded though, posted 28th Sep -
Thanks for that...I was just wondering about the delivery date...Good for my gig on Fri then!!

Sat night in Chesham, dunno if its just round there, but Sat night pubs crowds are definitely down, those that were there however were up for a boogie and we had a ball, sound was good too (my 1st outing with the New Eden 4x10)just my luck the only 2 muso's in the pub were bassists! just glad I didn't know before as I would have been extra nervous!
Landlord seemed well happy despite low turnout, we got an invite back -
Once played a venue that had a traffic light sound monitor thingy and after hitting the red a few times we were asked to turn down (old band, not current) Bandleader/singer was giving ##ck you to the landlord (yes he did have an ego issue) we were never asked back *sigh* I think his hearing was going cos we had an insane rig for a pub band (2k bass bins anyone?) ALWAYS went home with my ears ringing

Paul Grey.. a very melodic bass player. An all time bass hero for me

He likes playing up the dusty end don't he? Great stuff, might have to suggest covering em! -
Now proud owner of aforementioned Armoured Feather Case, and very pleased, Cheers Bud

Half way through the second set I got cramp in the index finger of my left (fretting) hand. No pain, but the finger completely folded up! I had to quickly work out how to use the middle finger and move my hand more instead!
In between the next couple of songs I massaged the finger (!) and flexed it a lot until it started working again.
Most odd.

I've had that too..weirdest feeling when your fingers won't do what you ask!
