1. Hey Rob....it was just a rant. We all have them....but at least i know where i stand now eh. FYI....I saw you had been online and not replied... Anyhow, good luck with the band search.
2. www.facebook.com/metalDBM You sound right up our street.
3. Hey Steve....would you be interested in this....www.facebook.com/metalDBM
4. Hi. Sent you a message a while ago. We are your age range and local to you. Checkout www.facebook.com/metalDBM then our bandpage for recordings of what we do, we'd like to know if you're into what you hear. If i recall, metal wasn't your bag, but as your other influences are close, you may want to listen....one of the tunes posted is acoustic. Contact me if you want to take it further. Cheers.
5. Still looking for a bassist to get us gigging. Currently we are recording an album. Ability and transport a must. Check us out at http://www.facebook.com/metalDBM
6. Six months on and we're still hunting for a Bassist to join Drummer and Guitarist/Singer for a metal band a cut above the rest. I can't remember bass players being so hard to find! Rehearsing in Leatherhead, transport and gear essential. Oldskool influences in our writing, though our sound is widely varied and melodic as well as atmospheric and occasionally acoustic. We have experience, contacts, skill and drive...just need bass to take us to the next step. Unable to supply anything recorded....yet.....take our word for it, we're worth a look. We have an hours worth of music rehearsed and ready to gig. Edit

8.
I'm on the heavy rock side of things. www.myspace.com/mongreldog1 This is the heavyest stuff so far.
hi mate. Are you interested? Where in London are you.? We rehearse in Leatherhead just off M25 on weekends. Fancy a punt?
9. Shameless bump. Are there no Bassists available? Just to expand further...Drums and Guitar/vox playing a very diverse set of metal based originals. Oldskool style...no death influence, melodic and challenging. Age irrelevant, transport a must and a need to put up with two lunatics. Something different happening here...come on!
10. Ieuan...no recordings yet, best off coming down being as you're local. Dan...where is the rehearsal situated?
11.
Damm !!! i should have come on here last night, i would have come down. sounds good maby we could meet up and jam at ur rehersal space sometime. cheers Ieuan
No worries. Always at Tweeters on weekends, i'll let you know about the next session....possibly not coming weekend due to holidays.
12.
I just moved to fetcham just outside leatherhead, what kind of metal ??? im the lead singer of this band aswell www.facebook.com/AngelsGate but i want to do something on bass thats more Djent. regards Ieuan
We are in Tweeters tonite if you fancy pooping your head in for a listen....but basically a melodic oldskool inspired brand of metal along the lines of Megadeth, Anthrax etc.
13.
Hi - thanks for reading this (the assumptive close - I am hoping that you won't stop after this sentence!!) I am in my (very) early 40s and I don't take myself too seriously. Am hoping to gig a couple of times a month and rehearse once a week. Last gigged about 4 years ago in local band Resistor. My influences include Weller, Cream, Hendrix, Foos, GnR, Chilis, Arctics, Jamiroquai, and so many others, but i HATE Keane, Coldplay, Embrace and all that bollox. Thanks again for looking at this. Cheers. Scott
Fancy a listen to our brand of music?
14. I was sacked in the exact same way, turn up to studio to find two members are sacking me so another recruit can step in...and boy did it take me a while to get over it. Not good politics imo. At least tell the geeza so he has a chance to find something else.
15.
Ugh, so far from Earl's Court.
I suppose it is a bit of a trek....but you never know...might be worth a look. In any case, keep us in mind and thanks for replying.
16. We don't play hard and fast all the time ...lots of scope for more than just headbanging floor gazing. Ta for looking anyway...now come on bassists, step up!
17.
Versatile Bassist reqd for Metal project. Is that an Oxymoron
What, versatile bassist?...why, are you interested?
18. Established Guitarist and Drummer are seeking a Bass player for a Metal project. We are based in SW London/Surrey and rehearse in Leatherhead.
