here for sale or for trade a beautiful BOSSA OB5 . These one is from the 90's
This bass was modified by a professional luthier in France , finish is now a beutiful looking vintage /oil natural.
Original pups and electronics were taken away and a couple of THUNDERBUCKER 66S ( 5 strings version ) were installed.Around 200€/each More on them here [url="http://thunderbuckerranch.com"]http://thunderbuckerranch.com[/url]
The output was taken away from the side and put in front as you can see in the pictures.
Bass is passive , output of the pups is high but very very warm sounding. I am not a specialist of Thunderbirds pups but these one sounds great to me , precise and yet warm and deep sounding.
Sound is clearly roots . maple board and ash body with a very thick top. Weight around 3.9/4 kg . Easy neck profile and a very well balanced beauty.
Bass is located in France , I can ship anywere in EU. Do not have original pups and electronics and NO GIG BAG but it will be very carefully packed to avoid shocks in transport.
Bass sounds really great but i do need something more flexible and normally it would be a keeper but since I am a ONE BASS bassist at this time these one has to go.
