This is the 'Billy Sheehan' that started it all. Late eighties vintage. In this case it is metallic blue, hipshot d-tuner, pink mettlic tint to the neck lacquer. A couple of small dints in the lacquer but nothing to wirte home about. Body is unmarked. When I got it it was stock, but have added the DP145 wild bill humbucker on the neck. I made a scratchplate that repositioned the controls a little to make it a little more easy to live with. The Bones sticker was badly applied so I re-did that properly too. Its a really powerful bass, not for the the shy retiring types. Output wise its just shy of my stingray. Bass comes with all of the original scratchplate, pickup and cover to return to stock if required, and a flightcase. I am very much tucked up with my dingwall now so the attitude needs some love..

Will consider a trade or part trade as well.

Happy to post at buyers expense (always insure..) . As a collector/player I Have sent many basses using UPS/Interparcel without any problems. Add another £30 and I will throw in a hardshell case to be extra sure. Alternatively I work in London and can meet up if you are down here.. Hope that helps GF

You know the story Well here is a Red USA SUB stingray. (not to be confused with.....etc) Body condition I'd say is 7.5 /10, as there is a chunk missing from the top bout. Some very light buckle rash on the back. Wear on Neck finish is very light ( a common place on these for wear/dints). Comes with a Mirror and a white pearl scratch plate, currently has the mirror one on board. All in in all a handsome looking thing, its a USA stingray, slab cut body (preferred by some ...) All period correct US hardware and electronics. Plays great sound like you'd expect, frets in great shape. In very nice condition, no tears. Flightcase on wheels need re-foaming (not difficult). The Flightcase alone if new is £185 MAG 410T deep 450w/8 ohms [size=7]£130[/size]

Unmarked as new abosultely 10/10, can be supplied with or without straplocks, White with black scratchplate , legendary Yamaha quality, Volume/tone + three way pickup selector switch. read the reviews, these are brilliant basses.

My stable of guitars is just too damn big, and I have pretty much settled on my Dingwall afterburner these days. So my pretty much immaculate Ibanez needs a new and caring owner. Burnt Orange burst over quilt maple cap. Great construction, great tonal possibilities with the Mman like big ol' humbucker at the bridge and Jazz up near the fretty end. 9v active circuit sounds great and is quiet and faultless basically. Personally I think Ibanez basses as so underrated. I have had SR, BTB, EDA and RDGR's and they have all been excellent. Questions, queries, odd comments and general chit chat always entertained.
