Home phone, we know where you got that number but his mobile? This is awesome. I feel like miss Marple has a hand in this investigation. -

Have a why don't you try your luck on eBay bump. Very cool bass but not everyone's cup of tea, eBay has a vast audience.

Just read this post.... wow, what a terrible situation. I hope the moderators do what they can to help, as someone with 500 posts would be deemed "safe" by most of us. I did some cyber sleuthing on this Sean.Robinson and it seems he is a bit of a BMW nut. Anyway, 73Jazz, going through his online footprint i found his home phone number and will PM this to you.

Do you work for Interpol? That is pretty impressive detective work. -
Of course I agree but you've given him three-4 weeks. I found the moderators really helpful they didn't take sides they simply acted as a go between.
-
Fooking ell mate that's terrible. I had a dispute lately that the moderators sorted out super quick. Why don't you ask them to intervene.

I think the less said about this the better. Moving on.

Steve and I had a very smooth transaction during the week. He is a very pleasant guy to deal with. I recommend very highly. Trade with confidence.
-
I've had many dealings with Pete he is a real gent who is respectable and honest. Trade with confidence.
-
Hi James I've Pmd you.

Deano is a straight talkin good guy. Deal with confidence.

You didn't give that much time. There are quite a few guys lookin for badass bridges in the wanted section.
-
Go for it. It's only a piece of wood and piece of metal it's not like you've suggested cuttin off some birds tits and putting them on a bloke to see what that would look like. I think it would be nice( the bridge not the tits on a bloke) so give it a try what's the worst that could happen?

Somebody beat me too it as well. It may look like I got it but I was too slow.

I'll take it.

These guys are getting worse at this. They used to turn out some tidy relic jobs but of late they are really getting carried away. It's as though they have become desensitised to what's enough. This guitar looks like it was found in tutan-kamuns hidden vault. Their work no longer corresponds with what's a realistic relic. About 18 mths ago I seriously bid on one of these guitars and followed it up to about £180 but had to call it a day as I couldn't justify it anymore. It was beautifully done and if I had the money I would probably have bid more, there is no way I would bid on any of these latest jobs. I'm a fan if relics I think done well with no intention to deceive they look awesome.

I'd be interested in the Gotoh bridge if anyone ends up buying the bass as standard.

still here and pmd. -
I can't ask for fairer than that.
-
I'd be interested in the standard version, money waiting. Pm me if there is any movement on the price.

Take the neck off your guitar and with some paper and a crayon make a trace by colouring lightly on the paper the covered area where the pickguard should be. The crayon will pickup the screwholes and the neck cutout. Send this trace to the above mentioned fabricator and he will do the business. I did this with an old squier I couldn't for the life of me find a plate for. I made mine myself out of aluminium. It fitted perfectly and looked the dogs bollix. Give it a try what have you got to lose.
