1. Sorry, but it sold very soon after I listed it to a guy called Steve from Nottingham. It was a great bass and I can understand why you'd like one so much. They pop up on eBay every now and then. good luck in your hunt ;o)
2. Squier Precision - SOLD Thanks for everybody that showed interest
3. That is a drop-dead-gorgeous bass!!! *drool* Have a free bump on me
4. lol! I've had this username forever on another music site - can't believe nobody had it here. I've had countless basses; Rickenbackers, Jazzes, Gibson Explorer, Flying V, this list is quite long but I'd always promised myself a Precision and I wasn't disappointed. This is the first one I've owned and it'll never go up for sale. I tried three other (and arguably better colours) Precisions the day I bought it, but this had a distinctive voice of it's own and I was sold! Fender Precisions . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Carlsberg don't do basses . . . . . but if they did
5. Wow - I'm in H.E.A.V.E.N. looking at this thread! Just had to add a pic of my pride and joy dozing peacefully in her coffin! Don't be fooled . . . . . . . . . she growls like a lovesick bulldozer!!!

7. Couldn't have sold my bass to a nicer guy. Excellent communication, spot-on payment, perfect transaction. Drove all the way up to my place to collect and remove any possibilty of the guitar being damaged in transit. Would deal with you again anytime Steve, you're a real credit to the bass-playing fraternity! Cheers and enjoy the bass, Grahame
8. Takamine EGB2S Semi-Acoustic Bass. In Natural with Abolone Rosette. Built-in digital tuner and pre-amp. Never been gigged hence in pristine condition with no marks or dings. Fantastic sustain & resonance. Recently restrung with Fender phosphor bronze strings. Following the re-string I noticed a bit of a buzz on the 'E' string so following a tip from a bass magazine article, I inserted a tiny piece of plastic from a drinking straw(!!) between the 'E' string and the nut and it worked like a dream; no buzzing! This piece of plastic can be removed in mere seconds by the way, simply by slackening the string. There is no case or bag; it came in a Takamine cardboard box (since disgarded) when I bought it from Sounds Live last October so collection only is a must please from Washington, Tyne & Wear. Price is £250 fixed. Thanks for looking
9. If you’re checking this out, you probably already know what you’re looking at so let me fill you in on this particular Bass. This Guitar was made in 2005/2006 in the Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan) and imported from Japan when new by the previous owner. Rumour has it that Fender USA don’t allow Japanese dealers to export guitars anymore. Comparing the superior quality of these ‘Crafted in Japan’ guitars compared to what the USA factories are churning out for over twice the price it’s not surprising that the Americans saw these as a threat to their market! So these should only get more desirable as time goes on. Pictures do not capture the deep red colour properly; it’s like a wine red with a deep, deep shine. She is in very good all round condition, completely original and never fails to attract attention and compliments at gigs. The rosewood neck is slim and fast with a cool stripe on the reverse. She plays like an absolute dream with a wide range of tones supplied courtesy of Precision and Jazz pickups. The scratch plate has done it’s job admirably and has collected a few scratches over its life so far but has protected the wood beneath as intended. The body has white binding similar to a Rickenbacker’s and has some light play marks but they are so small they’re virtually impossible to photograph. There are also a few light scratches on the rear. Incidentally these are not to be confused with the black Aerodyne basses generally available on the U.K. market. These Aerodyne basses come in an array of colours, have a scratch plate and a conventional jack-plug. It’s also lighter than a Precision or a Jazz so you can literally plug it in, pop it around your neck and play all night without having to see a physiotherapist the next morning! A new set of strings have been fitted recently and I’ve had her professionally set up by Dave Wilson of Haltwhistle (who used to work for Overwater basses). The icing on the cake is that I’m supplying it in the latest Fender Jazz SKB molded hardcase!! These cases sell for around £130 alone and are the best Fender have ever made with the latest TSA locks. Price is £550 – no offers and collection only from Washington, Tyne & Wear. Many thanks for looking )
10. I've looked into this and I can arrange a courier for £11.75 if anyone would require it delived. Cheers
11. Greetings Ladles & Jellyspoons! I've played bass on and off over the last 12 years but REALLY got back into it around two years ago. A couple of non-starting bands ensued until last year I found my ideal slot in TRAFFICKERS, a North East band doing a great mix of classic and modern rock covers. I'm at my happiest wearing my Rickenbacker around my neck plugged into my Marshall stack. Bass heaven!!! My influences? Lemmy (aka God!), Cronos and Melissa Auf de Maur. Just registered with this site today although I have known about it a for a little while and find it nothing short of superb. Very professional looking and of course great company with like-minded bass people! Cheers, Grahame
12. Many thanks for that. It really is as good as it looks. I just bought a Rickenbacker at the weekend so I'm thinning my gear down a touch to help pay for it. Oh and I've realised my obvious mistake - - I wrote "Fendar" in the description header instead of "Fender"!! That'll take some living down. Leo would be furious!
13. Fender Jazz Hardcase. Latest Fender design, genuine Fender item. The SKB molded flight case with TSA locks. Immaculate and pristine with key. £100 - no offers. Please note this is made to house Fender Jazz basses - a Fender Precision bass will not fit as it has a different body profile. Collection only from Washington, Tyne & Wear. Thanks for looking )
