1. Sorry mate, no plans to travel south in the future. Will give you a shout if this changes. Still available people.
2. ***SOLD*** Selling the classic Marshall DBS 720 Amp along with the 7015 Bass cab. 8ohms, 200W rms Great piece of equipment but I am just not gigging with them any more and I could do with freeing up some cash. They are in excellent working order, cosmetically they have a few scuffs and scratches but they don't affect the performance at all. Information on the head can be found here: http://www.marshalla.../dbs/dbs_01.asp Information on the cab can be found here: http://www.marshalla.../dbs/dbs_02.asp I am not looking to trade. Price is £200, cash on collection. Location is Stockport (High Lane), Gtr Manchester. Would be willing to meet at a reasonable distance if needed. Thanks for looking, Chris. 4. Damon bought my Jazz bass off me. Really sound bloke, excellenty communication and no problems what so ever. Cheers mate, enjoy the bass.
5. This cab is now sold. Pleasure doing business with you mate, enjoy your new cab!
6. Balls, looks like this will be going on ebay in a few days I reckon.
7. Yeah sorry pal, no trades. Cheers for the interest though
8. SOLD Bought this a while back off this forum and i've got to say it really is a superb bass cabinet. I'm only selling it due to it being surplus to requirements. It is in textbook condition - the only minor issue is that the tweeter knob has come off, however it can easily be turned with a screwdriver or coin. 600w rms 4 Ohms 24 kg - very light! 40 - 18k hz frequency response http://www.bass.se/2009/neo212.htm I am looking for £400, collected. I will not be shipping this item. I live in Stockport (High Lane) and I'll happily meet in Manchester town centre, Stockport, Didsbury or Chorlton. Bank transfer, Paypal or cash on collection. Thanks for looking, Chris.
9. Pics were hidden in the spoiler - i've sacked that off now! Wacojaco - sorry man, just bought a new bass so looking to recoup some of money i spent.
10. Alright folks, up for sale is my Mexican Fender Jazz bass. £300 collected. I will be including a Thomann hardcase and the bridge cover in the price. Overall it is in textbook condition. There's a minor dent in the headstock and some light scratches on the body work. I've tried to show these in the photos but they are barely noticeable. It has a medium-low action, straight neck and recently fitted strings. I'm based in Stockport, Gtr Manchester (in a place called High Lane). Ideally this would be collected or I can meet in Didsbury, Chorlton or Manchester centre. I'm not completely opposed to sending this via courier, it's just that I've never done it before and I'd need time to get all the materials. Cheers for looking, Chris
11. I used to be addicted to Kasabian's first album, they had a very distinct, sort of eerie sound which I was hooked on. They had some fantastic basslines to boot. Their live gigs really had a big impact on me looking back...they were the first band I saw live and it has stuck with me ever since. However, after the departure of Chris Karloff I felt their sound changed quite drastically and I really couldn't get into their new material at all. It's a pity as I really did love them. Interesting little read if you are a fan: https://fbcdn-sphoto...308352832_n.jpg
12. I am partial to a bit of Gary Numan - Music for Chameleons. And not just because of Alan Partridge.
13. Aaron Neville at his best here, love this tune This has probably already been posted, but it's such a smooth tune I had to include it.
14. Sarah Harding, blonde one from Girls Aloud, went to my secondary school. Few years older than me so never got the chance to speak to her. Thats the biggest name we've got round my end of Stockport. Slightly off topic, but big Chris Samba lives literally one minutes walk away from me - right next to my old primary school! Why on earth he lives here I will never know.
15. Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentlemen we are floating in space. Love this tune, could just sit in the dark with it on repeat. Bob Marley - Johnny Was. Fantastic piece of music.

17. Cheers for the welcome lads. Yeah, looking forward to increasing my bass knowledge around here, got so much to learn. silldx, I'm quite liking the sound of that laid blak tune, has a good vibe to it. Not sure on the vocals though, seem a bit soft/camp to me. I prefer a bit more aggression in my reggae. I'm pretty desperate to join/form a reggae band. I could play riddims all day. I had a drummer mate who was on my wavelength but I only just got into bass just as he packed up and moved to Ghana! No one else seems interested in playing reggae around my way, though there must be people lurking somewhere, just got to find them. The band I've been asked to join is a little covers band, and considering I've got virtually no experience playing in a band I'm going to make the most of the opportunity and learn as much as possible, even if it isn't what my fingers want to play.
18. Right then, I am Chris, 24, from Manchester and have been playing bass for 1 1/2 years now. Absolutely addicted to it. My musical passion lies with reggae, I personally believe it is the highest form of music. So with that respect, Aston Barrett is my all time favourite bassist, followed closely by Robbie Shakespeare. I do appreciate other forms of music such as funk, soul and rock n roll but I always end up sticking the reggae back on. So yeah, I reckon I'll be sticking around this place. About to upgrade some of me gear as I've finally been asked to join a band. Cya around.
