3. Retro fitted at some time with Dimarzio pickups and I believe a non original scratch plate. Quite a bit of play swirls front and back, but no dings as such thru the paint. No fret wear to speak of, neck is great and true, no issues. 60th anniversary badge on back, no extra routs or any thing like that. shipping is £11. appal is fine or transfer.
4.
Will it fit a Jazz?
Don't think so.
5. Active EQ, what you see is what you get! It all worked before been taken out of a bass some years ago, having major clear out. There are no pots. But includes both the Jazz & P Active Reflex Pickups and screws, the tone module and the battery setup. I do not have a wiring diagram but I would expect a little research on the net would yield one. Shout if you want any measurements etc. [s]£30[/s] £20 Shipped.
6. Serial number is 3030007 which I think means 1983 production. Made In Japan. In fabulous condition for her age and includes the original ZZB hard case again in great condition. there are a few marks and dings on the bass but nothing at all serious. There are 2 screw holes between the pickups where someone added a thumb rest. The bass has been cleverly and skilfully modified to accept a string through the body set up for even more sustain, not that its necessary as she sounds thunderous. There are no issues everything works as it should, the neck is great and pretty much unmarked. NOW SOLD
7. I have only ever seen 1 other in the flesh and that was years ago. I believe these were only made for a couple of years in the early 70's. She only weighs 7lbs and is a semi hollow construction. The sound however is far from light weight the pickup sounds huge and really raspy. She has numerous chips, dings, scratches and marks but the finish is I believe all original as it is much brighter under the scratch plate. There are no extra routs or mods. The neck has been defetted at some time in the past and has been made fretless, I guess this could be easily reversed if you wanted, but it is slim and plays really easily. The pickup is original. I have changed the pots a while back as the original ones were past their best but they will be included. There is a hole in the control panel between the pots, it had some sort of bypass switch. The tuner ferrules are missing. The wear on the higher register on the neck looks like genuine play wear and is not as bad as the pictures suggest and certainly doesn't affect playability. There are some extra holes under the bridge, but from my research the one fitted is original. the original chrome bridge and pickup covers have long gone. She comes in a fairly ropey (not sure if its original) hard case, but it is sound if not pretty.
