  1. For your budget, you should go secondhand. That way if the amp isn't right you can always sell it on without taking a big hit. You will also get more for your money. I recently bought a Markbass TTE500 for £450. If/when I decide to upgrade, I know I'll probably get most of my money back. Great amp but GAS is a terrible disease :)

  2. I would personally recommend getting a second SC as I did. One sounds great but with two the sound has a lot more bottom end/heft :)
    As for having a small car, normally I drive a Qashqai but occasionally I have to use the wife's Smart Roadster and can get both cabs, my amp, bass and bag of leads and floor pedals in there. I think there is probably enough room in your car for 2 cabs.
