Probably have to be The Real Me with The Who.

These are great pedals. I have one. Sound even better if you stack them with a bit of overdrive or distortion before it and a phaser after it. Try it. You can thank me later.

How is this still here?
If you are not in a super loud band these things are great. Perfect for recording too with 2 DIs. Fantastic Ampeg all valve amp.
Only moved mine on because I joined a VERY loud band.
These now are about £200-£300 more new. Bargain.

Just used my ABM 500 on a gig last night for the first time. Loud, clear, great authority. Very impressed. The amp wasn't bad either! 😉

Whereabouts in SE London are you? I'm interested in one of you fine pedals.

Think I might be in the minority as I've recently upsized my rig.
Gone from an Ampeg PF50t valve amp through a barefaced super compact (1x12) to an Ashdown ABM 500 through a barefaced Super Twin (2x12). Works for me!

Think there was a chap on here who had the r400 but wanted one of these

I personally would sell them separately. They'll probably go quicker and you'll get more. IMHO. GLWTS.

I used the one in Greenwich twice last week. It was fine but I actually like talking to the staff, other bands, etc to keep my finger on the pulse of what is happening locally.
Feels like the world is now being taken over by distruptor business models where there is zero human interaction because the owners have Aspergers and think that everybody else does too.
This can only lead to more social isolation and mental health problems

Also used this setup at an open mic on Thursday where I was resident bassist. It didn't seem especially loud when standing in front of it but one of the participants told me afterwards that it was 'parting his hair' when he was listening from the back of the room.
I bought mine for fun if I'm honest but it has proved itself a capable gigging amp too.
Told you it was a great amp!

Compressor, Octaver, Distortion, Envelope, Chorus, is I think what I would go for, but I might need to sacrifice the compressor for a second distortion. One low gain one high. I'd power it with my little recheargable battery gizmo I think.
Impressed with those including a tuner or coming in under the five. You show restraint the like of which I can only dream about.
You can still keep your compressor if you use a Rodenberg overdrive/distortion. It's a 808/909b combined with a switch.

I guess it depends whether or not you think it's causing you some issues. Learning to play with better "economy of motion" will definitely allow you to access more faccility across your instrument. I have a good video that breaks down left hand technique here:
Thank you Joe. Most appreciated.

This would go lovely with the PF50t that's for sale on here!

Hi Joe,
Thanks for answering all our questions.
I've been playing for quite a while (30+ years) and a Pro at a quality jam night said that I have 'flying fingers'. I wondered:
1. Is it really a problem?
2. How to fix/improve it?
Thank you, Paul
