1. Longshot, but any chance you'd take a Stingray 4 as a trade?
2.
The bass is for sale again - £750 ono. I may take a newish black/black/maple USA P-Bass in good condition as a trade, but would have to think about it (unless you want to send a tiny amount of money my way, I know it's petty but money's tight )
I'll now also take a Jap P-Bass (must be maple necked!) with money my way.

4. Somewhere between Alternative and Britpop I'd guess.
5. I'd be running out with my '77 P, making sure everyone heard that I hadn't managed to save my Stradivarius collection or any of those classic cars I had parked in the kitchen.
6.
I notice a distinct lack of any attempt to claim that said 'walking in' was at all accidental!
It was! However, our drummer later stood at the edge of the stage whilst she was playing so he could try and look up her skirt. That wasn't accidental. Not at all. Our adolescent minds were well and truly blown that night
7.
Grog!
In 2004 my band supported Die So Fluid in Southampton and, before the show, my guitarist and I walked in on Grog whilst she was getting changed backstage. Bass boobies!
8. Ah, let me enlighten you I'll send you a PM now, it'll show up in your messages section (at the top-right of the page there's a 'new messages' button). We can message each other that way, it's just nicer to keep negotations private I find

11. Now £730 OVNO. I'll also take a white Stingray 4 as a trade. I've got my own complicated reasons for this. So, feel like colour swapping?
12. Now no longer accepting trade offers, as brilliant as they all were. Need money
13. Cheers for the bump - you sure she doesn't want one for herself?
14.
That Bb is Schweeeeeet!
Cheers man. Pretty surprised to see so many BB3000s/5000s here - before mine I hadn't come across one...
15. Ooh, hadn't thought of a Bongo. I've not played one before, do you have any pictures/recordings?
16. 1997 Cat, 1987 Yamaha BB5000, 1977 Fender P, 1984 Ric 4003.
17. Ooh, and an arty picture of my '77 I took a few years ago.
18. Here's my '77: Also, I want all of the basses here
19. Ahoy all, new(ish) to the site and thought I'd say hello having dribbled over the Gear Porn section for a few hours. I play in an alt rock band named Bandit Monco, loving it. My Big Three are a 1977 Precision, a 1984 Ric 4003 and a 1987 Yammy BB5000. There's also my Stingray, but it's for sale (it's also the only one that isn't white...) Feels good to be back doing the forum thing, hoping to learn a thing or two
20. More pics...
21. I've been hanging around here for a while gassing away, but I think it's time to take the plunge and sell my Stingray. It was my dream bass but times and tastes have changed. The bass' serial no. is E36813, dating it to mid-2003 and I've owned it since then. It comes with the original hardcase and all the candy you could want It was my first 'good' bass and it's been treasured; accordingly it's in great condition. Three things need mentioning: firstly (and worstly...?) it recieved a fingernail-sized chip to the front thanks to a complex accident caused by my cat. It's between the pickguard and the chrome control plate. I had it professionally repaired by Brian Hayward in Winchester, he's done a great job of filling it in and it's not noticeable from more than a foot away. Secondly, there's a small scuff to the top edge of the bass, just where your arm rests, about 2cm long by 1cm. Again, it's not noticeable. Finally, there's a 1cm long scratch to the surface near the battery cover on the back. I've included 'warts and all' pictures of all the damage, other than that it's in perfect condition. Not bad for an eight year old bass that's been played. The bass is now yours for [s]800 [/s][s]750 [/s][s]730 [/s][s]700 [/s][s]690 [/s]£680. The only trade I'd really consider is for a nice USA P-Bass (pref black or white). Oh, and if you're worried about my newbieness, I've got great feedback on ebay under Mylkinut. I'm based in Southampton but I can move about a bit if needed. I'm also happy to post. Cheers
