1. Bassy

Now traded

Scale length is 35 inches for both basses. String spacing is 18 (i think) the necks are based on fender 5 string widths. Thanks.
2. Ignore the trade value price - i can't seem to remove it? £880 Shuker fretless. Ash body with flame maple sunburst top, 5 piece macasser ebony neck. Wizzard custom wound dual coil pickups (coil tapped for single coil sound) with Shuker eq with variable mid. Light weight bass, slim neck with a great range of sounds from the pickups and eq. Comes with hard Shuker case. The basses have only been used in the studio and so both are in mint/excellent condition. Can be seen in Finchley, North London or in the City. The only trade i would be interested in is for a Status S2 or Empathy or Stealth neck through 5 string. Thanks.
3. Bassy

All sold

yeah the Countryman is a great DI. I became fed up with being given such crap DI boxes in venues, that distorted my sound, so i bought a decent one. Never thought of putting it between the head and cab, sound like a good idea for valve amps. Considering your bass is 99% of the time DI'd, so it's what the crowd are hearing out front and not the amp, i'm suprised more bass players aren't more into their DI's? The ones fitted in most amps are normally a bit cheap and nasty.
4. Bassy

All sold

The DHA VT1-EQ has now been sold.
5. Sold Crowther Audio dble Hotcake xlf - custom made for myself by Paul Crowther, it's the best bass overdrive/distortion pedal i've played (and i've had lots and lots). It is basically two hotcakes in one housing, each voiced slightly differently. It is the xlf version voiced for bass guitar so it holds the bottom end, but no matter how heavy you dial in the overdrive/distortion the note still remains clear.Good for slight crunch, clean boost or with both sides of the pedal switched on at the same time...distortion insanity! It's in excellent condition with the original box Sold Countryman Type 85 DI box - Pro DI box - no more dodgy venue's fuzzy, cheap DI's, bring a decent one with you instead! "How do you send the purest, warmest and most natural signal out of a high-impedance instrument to a balanced mic input at the console? Countryman's Type 85 Direct Interface box. Reflecting the ultimate engineering and highest-quality materials, the Type 85 DI Box adds nothing and removes nothing from the instrument's signal. No distortion. No electronic hum or buzz. No loss of dynamic range. It's the only active direct box that delivers such a clear, strong, warm signal to the mixer" (from the Countryman website) - Great condition, original box is tatty but the DI is mint
6. Thanks for the offers, i'd be interested in a Geddy Jazz but sorry it would have to be fretted.
7. Yes he's a bit of a Mr. Kipling - makes exceedingly good basses. The only reason i'm selling it is because he's just made me a 5 string super jazz. I was playing Wal's but sold them and swapped to Shuker basses, so that gives you some idea of the level of the quality of his workmanship.
8. i tried again to upload pics, but no luck. it can see the jpg's in the upload box but when i press "attach" it comes up with this message: Error No file was selected for upload
9. Shuker 5 string bass in excellent condition, it was made for me about 2.5 years ago. The body is walnut with a macasser ebony top, the neck is a 5 piece with a rosewood fretboard, all with a gloss finish. It has two Wizzard dual coil pickups which were custom wound and have a coil tap switch so that each pickup seperately can be used as single coil or dual coil. The eq is a custom active Shuker eq with volume, pickup blend, bass, variable sweepable mid and treble. It has a wide range of sounds and it is a great example of the craftmanship of this UK luthier. It comes with a new Shuker branded Hiscox hard case. The bass is vituallly unmarked with one very small ding to the laquer on the underside of the bass. Colllection from Finchley North London or Moorgate in the city. I can also courier. £900 or i'm interested in a partial trade for a US Jazz 4 string or a Geddy Lee. Thanks to Mr.BassBus, he managed to upload my pics - the photos can be found in the thread below.
10. Heavy duty bridge taken off an old Fender deluxe 5 bass long since sold. Great condition. £30 posted.
11. This pedal worls well as a bass distortion because of the variable mid controls, which are fairly rare on a floor pedal. This lets you fine tune the distorted tone, allowing you to cut through any psycho down tuned band members! The pedal is boxed and in as new condition. £35 posted.

18. Yeah, but it seemed to just affect the amount of gain going into the pedal, not the output. I think it could do with a dedicated output volume slider, but i suppose it would put the price up?
Did you adjust the preamp gain trim pot inside it? It makes a big difference to the output volume.
19. I bought an XO Micro Synth but sent it straight back. It had a big volume drop even with the volume slider full up. There were a few ok sounds, but unless there's a mod for the volume problems i would save your money.
Just saw a second hand Micro Synthesizer for what looks like quite a cheap price. Its not the bass one, will it work with a bass? Would you recommend? Is it any good? and what would you think is a good price for it secondhand? What folk think?
