Seem to recall it is Lee Sklar on bass on the hill street blues theme.

Think it is a LeFay Pangton, there was one reviewed in guitarist magazine around this time, and I think Malcolm Foster used a fretted one when he was in simple minds.

Had a gunmetal grey S4000, definitely one that got away.

I've been known to assemble the odd bitsa, I have put fender decals on some of them, not to fool anyone, or myself, but purely for the visual aesthetics, the fender logo is iconic and for me finishes of the overall look of the instrument. If I sell any of them I make it very clear it is a bitsa.

Fender P/J, comprises of genuine Fender roadworn series precision neck, made in Mexico, complete with original vintage spec machine heads, and what I believe is a squire body, fitted with Seymour Duncan P pickup and DiMarzio jazz pickup. Plays and sounds fantastic, really authoritative pbass sound with the p pickup solo'd, add in the jazz for a well balanced and articulate sound. In very good condition, couple of small marks/ scratches commensurate with it being a used instrument. Lightweight, 3.92kg or 8.6lbs.
Don't really want to sell but needs must etc.
£475+ £30 P&P, bass ships in generic old school case.

Bought jazz body from @vinorange, what can I say, excellent communication, great delivery, everything as it should be. People like Vin make basschat great.

Looks like it's an active bass judging by the amount of knobs on it, I prefer my soft furnishings passive.

Stingray. As a recent convert to Stingray fives, I feel they fit in pretty much every musical style, and are very comfortable to play. I've owned over 50 different basses many of them 5 string and have to say the Stingray just works.

Oh blimey, too many, but there's a few that stand out, a late 90's US fender jazz, black with a single ply scratchplate, two early Zoot boudicas, the first shape, a blueburst fretless 5 and a natural flame maple 6 string. A Carvin LB75 in trans red and a warmoth gecko fretless 6 in flame koa.

Warwick Thumb NT5, immaculate condition, 2007, only discrepancy is the truss rod cover is from a bolt on model.
Bass plays perfectly, no issues at all, 4.9kg, so not a lightweight but not unmanageable. Sounds just like a thumb should, tight and growly.
Neck is a pleasant size, not skinny, not chunky, I personally find it very comfortable.
Comes with a warwick rock bag or if posted a tatty old school hard case.
Will consider trades, NT Streamers,4,5 or 6 string, Stingrays,4 or5, or an older fender, or pretty much anything interesting will be considered. Will take lower value basses with appropriate cash adjustment.
P&P £35

Harley Benton? There's a 5 string on eBay that is very similar.

Epiphone 60's Thunderbird
in Basses For Sale
Posted
Epiphone thunderbird 60s bass, sunburst, very good condition, one small chip on the upper bout as per photo, plays and sounds nice. Gig bag included. Currently has a gibson logo on the truss rod cover, this is just a decal on black vinyl stuck to the truss cover, easy to remove if required.
Would prefer collection or happy to meet/deliver in person for fuel contribution.
