PRICE DROP now £200
Ibanez P3115 combo, 300w, upgraded with a faital pro pr 400 speaker, couple of scrapes hear and there but overall good condition . Original weight is 17kg, think the faital is a little bit lighter, still a very manageable lift.
Sounds great, remarkably punchy and quite loud.
No postage but could potentially deliver myself, as my job involves travel all over the UK.

I'd say that is an ash body.

Hi Nick, top is carved, laminate back and sides. As far as I can tell it's not had any work done. I'm in witham.

I found it really difficult to get a low enough action, possibly due to the radius of the board, and the sound just never worked for me, lots of bottom end and harsh top end no matter how I had the EQ set. Very disappointing as the bass itself looked and felt great.
The MTD is a fantastic bass, irrespective of the price, I paid less than a 3rd of the value of the fender for it and it outperforms the fender in every capacity.

MTDs do seem to get a lot of love from their owners!

Worst was definitely the US fender jazz deluxe 5 string, most disappointing bass I've owned which I regretfully traded a nice warwick streamer 5 for.
Best was the last purchase of the year, an MTD kingston 5 string, passive single mm style pickup, really great sound and playability, great price too.

The correct order is yellow/Amber, red then brown. Some people use a black, but a traditional fender style should be brown.

Gretchen Peters, at Snape Maltings in suffolk. Truly wonderful performance in a great venue.

US Jazz Deluxe 5, 2002, excellent condition. Low action, plays really well. Has been fitted with a badass bridge, which has been drilled for through body stringing on the B and E strings only. 18v 3 band eq.
Would consider trades, prefer 4 strings, warwicks, stingrays, possibly a P bass, but I'm also open to others, try me.

Ooh I do like that, always wanted a B100, the figured maple version.

Hipshot kickass, just fitted one to my jazz, huge improvement in tone, adjustable spacing, no grooves to cut unlike an original badass, and drops straight onto a fender. Paid £49 delivered from an eBay seller in the US.
