Fender Jazzmaster 1999 Crafted In Japan (CIJ) Series in OHSC.
These Japanese Fenders are legendary and rightly so.
In excellent condition for its age, minor buckle rash, a few scuffs, all captured in the photos
When I got it, the electrics (pots and switches) were noisy and weak, so I carefully removed them (and kept them) before replacing them with a Kiogon kit comprising:
CTS 1M split shaft V & T
CTS 1M / 50K roller pots solid shaft
Switchcraft 3 way Selector switch, slide switch and Jack socket
All was restored to sounding sweet again, the neck and action are gorgeous as you'd expect (see pics), some minor fretwear but nothing that affects playability (see pics).
Trem works perfectly (bar shown in case), original electrics included along with original strap buttons (schaller straplocks fitted) and levys strap.
Local collection in Hope Valley welcomed but can ship within UK.

I still have dreams about the one of these I played in Scheerer's music in Leeds back in the late 90's, wonder if it's as good as my dreams have made it?
Clarky is a legend though, top chap

Hey, thanks for posting! 🙌 ... this is the first in a series of this format and we had ZERO idea whether peeps would dig it or not. Thankfully, it's looking like they do
We've actually already filmed another one w/ Henrik Linder, and also one w/ Rob Mullarkey and Richard Spaven... those will be released over the next few weeks over on the YouTube channel.
Cheers,
Scott
massively enjoyed it, the banter between you all is such fun and hell's bells what a player

Probably the cab. Put them with a decent cab (Berg, Barefaced, et al) and they are epicI suspected the cab initially but the head had nothing to give either

Ashdown feedback...having has to use the 600w Ashdown head at SKegness the other weekend through an Ashdown 2x15 cab, I was expecting something decent, boy was I disappointed, had to dime the input gain and master volume to get somewhere close to audible, underwhelmed.com
presumably there was summat amiss with the rig but as it was festival backline it wasn't my place to tinker

The first 2 Iona albums were beautiful too, his playing is stunning
