Hi mate, traded? What did you get for it? Haz

RIP to one of the '80s bass building icons
-
+1 on gafbas02's review.
I have them in my Fender AVRI '62 - well I had them made custom with raised pole pieces to accommodate the 7.25" radius better. I was very pleasantly surprised for 2 reasons, cheapest custom pups I have come across and they sound every bit as good as some of the other more "boutique" renditions of a classic.
To my ears they are "hotter" than most single coils and are a bit darker and beefier. Not a lot of top end sparkle (which you should not have in a 60's reissue) but good highs, nice mid register without becoming too boomey and very solid bottom.
I also have and older (purchased 2nd hand off BC) paid in my Vintage Jaco Fretless, cheap as chips bass that with these boys and CTS pots/oil capacitor sounds better than most US standard Fenders.
I am very very pleased indeed and will certainly buy them again. -
Ha ha, funny as........

What a bass. I don't have a fodera 6 to trade but I do have a semi now.

I was looking for one........ darn it, could have saved myself some money if I had checked.
-
It will be between 9 and 11 lbs. Mine is just over 10.
-
I have the passive version of this as my BEAD bass, great for rock/ metal as well as old school fingerstyle tones. Neck is great too! Have a bump on me.

Beautiful amp! However you look at it, tube amps just sound right. Never seen one of these before, but 660 quid for a full tube 200w amp is pretty awesome, the weight is not too bad either.
Bump and specs on me:

Since Saturday I own a Tecamp Puma 900 and an Aguilar DB212. After using is at home I was able to put it through its paces yesterday. Wow! I cannot remember a better mid range whallop or a fatter bottom.
I might have reached amp nirvana...... -
bump for updated advert

Some things are just not meant to be

I am posted in the Netherlands (bit of a trip for you) and am in greater Manchester area every month for about a week back in head office.
-
I am an idiot, you posted when you put the add on. I used to have the 212 version. Really good. Afraid I am not in the neighbourhood any time soon. You will not post?
-
Where are you based mate?
-
Van der End, contrary to van der Kley is unknown in UK mate. Unless you find a Dutch/Belgian buyer it will be a hard sell perhaps. I have owned a van der End, really good basses completely handmade and often handmade eq/pups. Bump on me!

Lurvely Wal!

All pms answered, thx Ash. Fuzz and EQ still available!

Have one, awesome 8 string for the money. Have a bump on me!

All gone

Really must make some pedal board room , too cramped in there.
Source Audio Programmable EQ: good as new, 80 quid excl. PP - awesome EQ pedal, really easy to set up and very usable programmable functions
Great little EQ pedal that because of the 5 programmable presets can also double as a line level switch (to switch between 2 basses) and boost pedal. It's like having 3 pedals in one. Just not required in my setup.
Will also trade against, looper/switch (5 loops +), blend pedal, gig bag, micro amp bag (Gig Skinz for example), straps, cables that sort of stuff.
GONE:
MXR Bass Fuzz Deluxe M84: mint, 90 quid excl. PP - great old school fuzz with clean blend, really sits well in mix TRADED
Morely ABY Mix: in really good condition, 50 quid excl. PP - 2 inputs, 2 outputs, separate level control. Great for use with 2 basses with different output levels SOLD!
Moody DIY Blend Pedal: cheap and very useable, 15 quid excl. PP - built it myself, it works period and can be powered by PSU SOLD!
Morely ABY pedal: slight modification made so it can be powered by Voodoo Lab or equivalent, decent working condition 30 quid excl. PP - 2 in 1 out, 2 out 1 in need I say more(ley). SOLD
Paypal accepted (gift).
