1. I know it looks a little shabby, it has been extensively gigged over the years, this was no hobby bedroom cab! She is still in 100% perfect working order, castors still solid too. My worthy workhorse cab is not ready for retirement yet. I on the other hand, am! £400 cash is the asking price. I will not come down from there. It is in storage near Ilminster/Taunton in Somerset. Please get in touch if you are interested. [sharedmedia=core:attachments:166478] [sharedmedia=core:attachments:166479] [sharedmedia=core:attachments:166480] [sharedmedia=core:attachments:166481] [sharedmedia=core:attachments:166482]
2. No trades, sorry, I have more gear than any one person needs!!
3. Hi folks I am selling my very used but not abused Ampeg 610 cab. Bought in 2006, it has seen plenty of action and the outer condition is a bit scrappy, but it works like the beast she is where it counts!! Still pumping watts with no problems. I did replace one driver with a like for like replacement as I was getting a low level buzz from the top right driver. New one has eliminated all buzzes and she is ready to rock. If you can see through the ripped tolex and "used" look this is not something I'm going to reduce the price of due to cosmetic condition... to me it does not matter given it is in 100% perfect working order. Location is between Taunton and Ilminster in Somerset, and this is a collection only affair. Also selling the JCM800 Bass Series with flightcase, a Marshall 1960B 4x12 guitar cab and the Soundcity 30C 30watt valve amp in picture. Get in touch if interested

7. Hi everyone! I have been reading this forum for a year or so now, mostly for info and reviews etc. It has been a fantastic source of feedback and advice for gear related stuff I bought my Markbass F1 through Basschat a while back (cheers Chris!) and am now looking to pass on my Fender Marcus Miller Jazz if anyone is interested http://basschat.co.u...-made-in-japan/ I have played bass for 15 years. Have also played guitar and was even once a drummer in an old high school band! Bass is still my axe of choice however. I play mostly rock related stuff, my bands over the years I've lived in Brighton (10 years) include AutumnRed (guitar and bass), The Painted Smiles (bass) and With Scissors (bass), all of which have stuff out you can buy if you like Anyway, thought I'd do the introduction thing, especially as I am trying to sell you something so you can know who I am and where you can track me down! Peace Mikey
8. just picked up my super12 2 days ago. it is truly wonderful! I have run both my Markbass F1 and Ampeg through it. The Ampeg has the classier tone, but to be honest, the F1 keeps up and is my chice for gigs these days. Wonderful cab
9. ***SOLD*** £750 SHIPPED, but sensible offers considered. I am selling this beautiful Jazz Bass to raise funds for other projects. It is the Marcus Miller signature series. I bought this in 2003. I used it as a gigging instrument for 2 years and has since been used only at home or in the studio. It plays beautifully and has great tone. It can switch between passive and active giving you a wealth of tones at your finger tips. I have had it serviced and set up with fresh medium gauge strings. It has a Badass Bridge fitted, and has stunning mother of pearl block inlays. I am selling it with a Gator hardcase (the same I purchased with the instrument) that is in very good condition. New these cost £1006 (cheapest on the net). This has a few minor marks and wear, and headstock has a few dings (see pics). It is in very good condition over all. I have replaced all corroded scratch-plate and pickup fixing screws. She is gleaming. I am located in Brighton - collection preferred but shipping is fine too. Cheers for looking!
10. ok you have my attention! just been down the local shop and tried a few of these MB amps out. all pretty ace and F1 came highly recommended! is it still available?
11. obviously without having tried it out, I cannot say for sure, but I am very taken with the TC Classic 450. I tend to steer away from these buttons and gizmos, and have used my boss tuner happily for yonks! Plus I only use my P bass in live situations these days. Can't beat the old P! The Classic looks to be the same business as the RH450, minus the more hefty price tag... Im now off to hunt one down! cheers for the info guys
12. ok, so the Genz Benz sounds like a contender. I know the markbass amps all sound pretty ace, and I have never used any Genz Benz stuff, so Im still swaying in Markbass' direction. Hmmmmm I need to get my hands on these amps for some direct comparisons.....
13. looks interesting! how do you get on with yours? How does it stand up to mid size gigs (200-500 people)? Cheers
14. Hi! I am new here so be nice! I am thinking of downsizing my amp from my old ampeg SVT4 pro to something more portable. My eye is on a Markbass little mark head, but I was hoping some of you guys could advise on which is worth the investment. Im looking at getting either the Little Mark III or the Little Mark Rocker 500. I play mostly rock and heavy rock, hence my interest in the extra gain of the Rocker. Could I do away with the need for my overdrive pedals? Is it worth the extra cash? What do people think? Does anyone want my SVT4?? It is a little road weary but still in tip top condition thanks to regular servicing.
