    Price or Trade Value : £650 VGC American Standard Jazz bass (2011). Black with maple board. NOTE -- Mirror plate not included, comes with black on it and I will throw in the standard white job that came with it. Some slight wear in normal places, ie back and near to scratchplate. Very light and beautiful neck and board. No case Im afraid but can post in cardboard carton with secure packaging at buyers cost. Prefer pickup from Essex area.     2011 US Std Jazz black with maple board. Includes Fender hard case. Very good condition but some slight wear marks on back. Want to do a direct swap for an identical US Precision, ie black/maple with hard case. Essex based.

    Yes, sorry, Simple Minds original bassist. Should have said "....Simple Minds basslines..." rather than "SM basslines...". Very melodic player and responsible for the unique sound of early SM up to the Sparkle In The Rain album.

    Entwistle, Foxton and Forbes are my top three, so it was a pleasure to see one of my heroes play, meet him afterwards and spend the whole evening into the early hours drinking and talking early SM basslines in the hotel bar.
