1. Enjoying this thread - very interesting! So, if you don't mind me asking, what options did you go for with your confirmed order - colours, knobs, case etc? Final price including shipping? What's the lead time from order to delivery? I've also just seen the M Bass 500 Mini Head on their site, which also looks very nice. Not sure if it's shipping yet, but looks like they're taking orders. GAS!!! P.S. Loving the DI clip posted above - good singer too!
2. Thanks for the tips guys! For sale only - no trades, thanks!
3. Bass located in Northamptonshire. Post code NN10 (Rushden). Can also be viewed / shipped from Leamington Spa (Post code CV31). Thanks for the tip MB1
4. SOLD! Squier By Fender Mikey Way Mustang Bass (My Chemical Romance signature model) Bought purely to try out a short scale model, but sticking to regular scale. Apart from playing it three or four times indoors you will be getting effectively a brand new bass! Stunning silver flake sparkle finish with go faster stripes - much too flash for an old f*rt like me (too many decades have passed since my glam rock days & too many inches added to the waistline too!!). Excuse the poor mobile phone pictures - any reflections on them are just that - the bass is pristine, unmarked!! Looking for £215 o.n.o. & will include shipping to UK only. Here's the spec: Features a single seismic humbucking pickup for a clear, powerful tone. Other features include a comfortable short scale (30”), basswood body, maple neck, 9.5”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 19 medium jumbo frets and parchment dot inlays, three-ply pickguard (black-white-black), black numbered volume and tone controls knobs, string-through-body bridge with four individually adjustable saddles and vintage-style chrome tuners. 5. Bump! Still here... £115 & will ship for free! No PayPal though with free shipping offer.... Bank transfer or cash only please. P. S. If you want the pickguard (I never had one) there's a US online store sells them for around £20.
6. highwayone - really must check on here more often (thought I was set up for email notifications when anyone posted here). Let me know if still interested, cheers! I'm in Rushden, Northants (post code NN10)
7. BUMP! Still for sale £115 plus shipping - too busy at work to bother with eBay. Genuine sale - nice bass, condition as shown & described above.
8. Hi DaveyMac - apologies, only just saw your post here. Had a couple of PM enquiries so wasn't watching my original thread anymore. Bass still for sale. Various options for post - I think Parcelforce 48 is around £12-£15 with insurance. There are probably cheaper ones but you get what you pay for. Would prefer bank transfer to avoid PayPal fees at this selling price, but will take PayPal if needs must.
9. Ash's sale appears to have fallen thru so this is still available folks!
10. After ten years of bass-free abstinence (and a mid-life crisis of turning 57 ) I decided to get back in to playing and bought this as a re-entry point. Of course, once bitten by the bug again, bass number 2 duly arrived a month later! Now I've been down this road before - and ended up with 15 basses in the house lol. So, with some gentle pressure from she who must be obeyed, I'm attempting to stick to one bass only. The Mike Dirnt is in pretty good nick, lightly used, but comes without the pick guard - I bought it this way. You can get one on the net for about £30 I think, but I quite like the look without it. I've taken a number of photos including an attempt to show the slight marks on the back of the body for good order. The details about the bass are listed in the black box below. It does have a very punchy sound even when played finger style, so I guess if using a pick is your thing it will cut through even more. Nice, well built bass overall for the money. £125 + shipping please > REDUCED TO £115 + shipping The bass will be shipped in a guitar box and packed securely (bubble-wrapped) inside. Bass is located near Northampton if anyone is interested in taking a look or collecting. Thanks. Rob

Agathis body with gloss polyurethane finish
Thick C-shape maple neck with 9.5 in radius, rosewood fingerboard and 20 medium jumbo frets
2 Split Single-Coil Precision Bass Pickup
Standard 4-Saddle Bridge
2 volume 1 tone control
14. Fantastic practise amp & pre-amp. Made by Steve Rabe the brains behind SWR, but no longer in production. Good as new condition, only used at home. Runs off 2x9v batteries (I also have the original 2-pin US power unit if wanted). 2 instrument inputs & 2 headphone out sockets. The sound quality is very clean - make a mistake & you'll hear it ! Plug a cd player in and play along. These are pretty rare these days but the quality is terrific. I was trying to find Steve lawson's review of the PHA-1 but can't. Here's a couple that may help- http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...dphone+Amp/10/1 http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=2&type=misc Sound clips here http://www.basstasters.com/preamps/Raven_Labs_PHA-1.html £150 o.n.o +P&P £5 Raven Labs PHA-1 front by RobA19, on Flickr url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/roba19/4967238237/] Raven Labs PHA-1 rear by RobA19, on Flickr
