  3. Hello, What, In your opinion, would be the going rate for: 1. A year 2000 Gibson Les Paul Standard bass. Honeyburst finish, TB Plus pickups, 3 way switch, Vol & Tone for each pickup. Maple topped mahogany body with binding & 34" Mahogany neck with a 20 fret Ebony fretboard, Slim taper neck shape. Complete with Gibson hardcase. VGC with some buckle rash on the back but that's all, no other marks or dings. The metal jack plate is a little tarnished from age but it is fully working and OK. Original owner and have original receipt. 2. A 1995 USA Fender P bass. Black, Seymour Duncan ¼ lb P and J pups. Volume/Volume controls. Rosewood neck. Complete with Fender hardcase. Bass in Good Condition, used but not abused. Pickup work and set up done by the Bass Gallery in London (have receipt). I am the 2nd owner, but not sure. Any advice mucho appreciated, Happy Monday! 4. Hello All. A new bout of G.A.S. is leading me to thin out the herd a little! Here we have a year 2000 Gibson Les Paul Standard bass. Honeyburst finish, TB Plus pickups, 3 way switch (bridge, bridge+neck, neck), Vol & Tone for each pickup. Maple topped mahogany body with binding & 34" Mahogany neck with a 20 fret Ebony fretboard, Slim taper neck shape. Complete with Gibson hardcase. This bass is in Very Good Condition. I changed the truss rod cover but still have the blank original which is included. There is some buckle rash on the back from gigging & rehearsing but that's all, no other marks or dings. The metal jack plate is a little tarnished from age but is OK, no corrosion. Please see the pictures highlighting the buckle rash. Of the 2 photos one is inside and one is outside to show it at its worst and best! This thing cost me £1300 back in the day (can supply original receipt). Looking for £950 O.V.N.O. No trades please. No silly offers - I'm in no rush to sell. I will require collection in person on this one and I'm based in N.W. London. Thanks for looking, Jon. 5. Hello Everyone, Hope I find you all well? I'm a Punk Rock bass player from London. Bit of a tone hound and am always scheming, planning and adapting gear in my rig to please myself mostly but more importantly to suit the band and songs. I use a USA P Bass with a SD Quarter Pounder into a pedal board (!) then into a Mesa Boogie Bass 400+ amp on a Mesa Boogie Diesel 4 x 10" cab. The pedal board is where it's at though. I plug into a Boss pedal tuner then into a Lehle D-Loop pedal. Loop 1 goes through a Sadowsky pre amp pedal and then a Boss Bass Chorus (clean channel), Loop 2 goes through a MXR M180 Bass DI+ pedal (dirty channel). All powered by a Voodoo Labs power supply. Thinking about adding a USA Jazz Bass aswell now for some extra flavours! Cheers and Bye for now, Jon.
