  1. Hi,

I'm selling my beautiful Atelier Z Beta 4, as unfortunately I find myself in a situation where I need to free up some funds. This bass is stunning to look at, handmade in Japan and feels amazing in the hands. It has a 24 fret maple neck and features block inlays with Luminlay side dots, stainless steel frets. It has a Hipshot bridge, and has been upgraded with Hipshot Ultralite clover tuners, fitted professionally by a luthier. The controls are Volume, Volume, Tone with a series/parallel switch which gives the bass more of a P bass sound. The pickups are Atelier Z's staggered pole pieces single coils, and sound great and super responsive! The bass is in great condition, with the only notable nick on the end of the headstock (shown in pics).

This bass is really lightweight at 3.4Kg (7.5 lbs)!!

I'm looking for £950 for this fantastic bass!

Collection from Leeds preferred, can post at the buyers expense.

Let me know if you have any questions :)

  2. Hi,

Looking to sell my Bag End S15X-D. I thought this day would never come as it sounds amazing and despite it's size, kicks out an extremely loud and full sound with a great amount of treble for a 15" cab. As it's not been used since my band moved to in-ears and I need the space, I'm afraid it has to go.

It's in good condition and full working order and comes with a fitted Roqsolid cover. This is the version with the Coaxial driver that includes a 15” cone for lows and mids, a crossover network, and a 1” titanium diaphragm compression driver for extending the high frequency response.

Due to it's size, I would prefer collection from Leeds area, but I can travel to meet a buyer half way dependant on location.

    Cheers, Nick

  3. Hi all,

I'm selling a set (neck and bridge) of Tonerider Jazz Plus pickups. These are only a month old and have been installed in a bass for only two weeks (still has the plastic on the top!), they sound incredible for the money but unfortunately are not to my taste.

I'm looking for £45 inc. UK postage for these.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers, Nick

  4. Hi all, I'm looking to sell my gorgeous BTB Volo.

The bass is in great condition and I couldn't find a mark on it that is worthy of a mention. It's really fast and smooth to play, as you would imagine from a bass of this style, great punch and sustain and I've never struggled to be heard in a mix! Adjustable and removable finger ramp if that's not your thing. Currently strung with month old Warwick black label strings, comes with a spare set (E to C).

The bass weights in at 4kg (8.8lbs) on my scales and is very well balanced on a strap or seated.

    Specifications:

        - BTB5 5pc Maple/Bubinga neck-thru
        - 838mm/33" scale
        - Ash top/Mahogany wing body
        - Rosewood fretboard w/Abalone dot inlay
        - Medium frets
        - Graph Tech® BLACK TUSQ XL® nut (45mm width)
        - Mono-rail V bridge (17mm string spacing)
        - Bartolini® BH1 pickups
        - Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band eq w/Mid frequency switch
        - Black matte hardware

I'm looking for £425, no trades thank you.

Collection would be preferred from the Leeds area, or I can meet up within a reasonable distance. I could also post, it comes with the original box and packaging (no gig bag) and would be packaged securely within another box for extra protection. Buyer to pay postage cost, only UK buyers please.

Any questions, please send me a message :)

  5. Hi all,

I've reluctantly decided to part ways with my SQ P bass. It appears that these don't come up for sale very often, and this is a fine example  -  coming with the original hard case, inspection tag and a beautiful tort pickguard the owner before me had made (original white one included). When I brought the bass a couple of years back there was quite a lot of fret wear, so I took it to a luthier for a level and dress, now it plays like a dream with a nice low action. Everything is in great working order but has some natural wear and tear for a bass of this age, which I have tried to picture as best I can, let me know if you want any more photos! The bass comes in at 4.1 KG on my bathroom scales and is strung with nickel roundwounds.

These basses were produced for a period alongside the legendary JV series instruments. The main difference is that the SQ series were less vintage accurate and hardware was similar to 70’s era Fenders. The build quality and finishing superior to many US Fenders of the same era, hence these instruments being quite sought after. More information on the SQ can be found here - http://www.21frets.com/squier_jv/thesqpage.htm

I'm looking for £425 for this fine sounding bass, collection from Leeds is preferred, but can post to UK at additional cost.

Let me know if you have any questions :)

  6. John sold his Human Base Roxy to me, from the start he was a pleasure to deal with and had very fast communication, keeping me up to date throughout the process and packaging the bass very well. Deal with confidence, I would highly recommend. Thanks again!

  7. I've unfortunately come to the realisation that I need to part ways with this fantastic bass, I have been playing 5 string for the majority of the last year and it no longer gets the attention that it deserves. With the arrival of a new 5 string I need to make some space.

    The specification is as follows:

    • Alder body with sunburst finish and matching headstock
    • 3 piece maple neck with pao ferro fingerboard
    • 39mm brass nut, 34" scale length
    • Hipshot Ultralite tuners and B style bridge
    • Bartolini noise cancelling jazz pickups (9CBJD1)
    • East SPM-02 (vol (active/passive push/pull), blend, bass, treble)
    • Lightweight at 3.8kg (8.4lbs), with a perfect balance
    • Comes with 3 different colour pickguards - transparent (fitted), white and black

I made a finger ramp from rosewood which matches the colour of the fingerboard and sits on the pickup screws, this is attached with double sided tape to the pickguard and can easily be removed. This was my main gigging bass for 2 years so it has some minor scuffs, which I have tried to photograph as well as I can, let me know if you want more photos :)

I originally brought this from bass direct and I remember playing most of the 4 string jazz basses in there at the time, this was the one that had the best resonance, tone, feel and balance, and I'm picky with basses! The action can be set as low as you like with no buzz and is an absolute dream to play.

I'm based in Leeds, you are more than welcome to come over and give it a play. I can post to the UK, or I can drive a reasonable distance to meet you, comes with a sturdy Protection Racket case (pictured)

  8. Hi all, I'm looking to move on my Sire V7 Vintage 5 string in a beautiful transparent white. I've had this bass for just over a year, it's seen a lot of gigs but has been very well looked after (see pics). This thing sounds like a 70's jazz should - nice and growly and aggressive which sits great in a mix.

The bass is in great condition, the only blemish I could find that was worth photographing is on the headstock.

A few upgrades have been made from the stock V7:

    • The preamp had been changed to a Delano Sonar 2, with push/pull active/passive on the volume and tone roll off in passive mode, running on 18v.
    • The bridge has been changed to a Fender Hi-Mass brass unit which sounds great!
    • The frets were levelled and polished by a respected luthier followed by a setup, this allows a super low action and it's a fantastic player!

The bass is located in Leeds, you're more than welcome to come and try it out. Can ship at buyers expense within the UK,  I would also be willing to travel a reasonable distance to meet with a buyer.

I'm looking for £360 for this great bass.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know :)
