    I'm selling my single coil Kent Armstrong jazz bass pickup set, I believe these are the handmade ones as they came from my Wood & Tronics bass.

    They are labeled JBVE - 1B and JBVE - 1N.

    Hi All,

    I'm regrettably having to part ways with my MTD KZ6 as I need cash and it was the last in, it's the first to go. I haven't been playing it as much as I anticipated due to acquiring a new synth which is satisfying all my solo-istic requirements at the moment.

    This bass plays really well, 18mm string spacing and a very comfortable neck. The sound is huge and versatile due to the pickup tap switch and 3 band EQ and everything is in great condition.

    This is the original thread from which I brought it from GrammeFriday in February which gives a lot of detail about the bass:

    The bass is as described in that listing but with the following modifications:[list]
    [*]A parallel/single switch was added for the pickups, this is recommended by Nordstrand for these pickups and switches it between a more straight ahead jazz bass tone and the more aggressive parallel setting.
    [*]A finger ramp made of rosewood to match the fingerboard was added, easily removable as it is attached only with double sided tape.
    [*]A rosewood truss rod cover was added, original black one will be included so it can be changed if its not your taste.
    [*]Switched the control knobs to aluminium stripe indicator style.

    It is currently strung with Dunlop Superbright nickels, a generic hardcase and Gruv Gear fret wrap will be included in the sale. I'll also include a Planet Waves Tru-Strobe tuner in the sale as I brought this specifically for this bass to set the buzz feiten tuning system (if you don't want this take £30 off the price).

    I'm after £525 inc. UK postage for this. Collection/try outs possible in Leeds area.
