Hi all,
I'm selling my workhorse of a Mexican Fender Precision bass! I brought this new in 2018 and tested six different P basses in the shop at the time, including the newly introduced player series. Out of the bunch, this one was the most resonant and lively sounding, so it came home with me! It has an Alder body and maple neck and fingerboard. Since then it's had a number of upgrades as follows:
- Delano PMVC 4FE/M2 pickup
- Hipshot HB7 tuners
- Fender hi-mass brass bridge
- Luminlay side dots professionally installed
- Fret level and dress professionally done last year
- Custom 3D printed thumb rest (designed and manufactured myself)
- Comes with two different tort pickguards and one that's matte black (see pics)
This is a killer bass for the price, the Delano pickup has a pretty hot output and always sounds great in the mix in all styles. It plays really well and the neck profile isn't too chunky, more slim and flat, the nut width is 40mm. The thumb rest can be removed easily as it's only held on by the pickguard mounting screws.
It's in good condition, there are a few cosmetic marks on the bottom of the body and your standard mark on the top of the headstock, but I struggled to find anything else worth mentioning. No issues with the neck or truss rod. The bass weighs 4 kg (8.82 lbs) and balances very well seated or on a strap.
I'm looking for £450 for this bass. I can ship in a chunky soft case within the UK, although collection from Leeds or meet up half way would be preferred.
Please message me if you have any questions

Indeed, I've done something similar! I also have a 3D printer so I made my own thumb rest that attaches to the pickguard mounting screws. It makes it much easier to change your tone by moving your hand position when you can anchor your thumb anywhere.
I'm also happy to help out with a solution if you need it

I brought a Sandberg Electra from Lee and couldn't recommend him enough. Fast and honest communication, packaged very well and a great chap to deal with! Deal with confidence!

Thanks for the kind words gents!
It was very interesting comparing the Atelier and the Sadowsky Metro back to back, definitely in the same ballpark build quality wise but tonally different beasts! To my ears, the Sadowsky was more rounded and polite, but you could dial in some aggression with that wonderful pre-amp, whereas the Atelier was definitely more punchy and ballsy. Both fantastic instruments depending on what kind of jazz bass 'flavour' you're after, but it's also possible to dial in some similar tones, they are both jazz basses after all!

Hi all,
Never thought this day would come, but I'm looking to sell my beautiful Atelier-Z. Since rehearsals and gigs have come back in full swing, I've realised that I'm always reaching for my 5 or 6 string as they make my life a lot easier for most of my bands. For that reason, I've only ever played this at home, which is a massive waste as this is hands down the best jazz bass I've every played!
The specs are as follows:
- Chambered body (alder back/figured ash top)
- Maple neck with light ebony board (block and bound)
- Atelier-Z pickups in the 70's positions
- Atelier-Z tone circuit (volume/volume/treble/bass) with push/pull active/passive
- Gotoh bridge (19mm spacing) and light weight tuners
- Weighs only 3.7 kg! (8.15 lbs)
These are made in Tokyo and to a very high standard! The neck is dead straight and easy to adjust, the truss rod moves smoothly and responds quickly. Fretwork is impeccable and it's currently setup with a nice low action. The EQ is very musical and really easy to dial in some great tones, and really nails that Marcus Miller thing if that's your cup of tea!
Now SOLD
No trades at the moment, thanks!
Let me know if you have any questions!

Indeed, hard to know what they're worth, the prices vary pretty wildly on eBay!

Hi all, I'm selling my Hartke VXL Bass Attack pre-amp pedal.
This is a great sounding, solid pre-amp which is pretty versatile with two different tone switches. The main one functions as a blend-able warmth/overdrive (think Sansamp BDDI) and the 'shape' switch activates a tone circuit that emulates SVT style sounds.

Pedal is in good condition and full working order, no box included unfortunately.
Looking for £50 inc. UK postage, let me know if you have any questions!NOW SOLD - thanks
