An imminent purchase means I need to get rid of this so now reduced to £600 posted or £575 if you want to collect ,
Even if I say so myself that's a serious bargain at this price

Good point I had thought about that and will probably try that route first but I usually miss out on anything going
Cheers steve -
Thanks gents pretty much what I wanted to hear there were a couple up for sale not long ago but soda law dictates now I wan t one none to be found
Looks like I might have to buy new
Thanks -
Going to bump this with a price drop to £625 as I have an overwhelming desire to get my hands on a fender roadworn P bass
-
Thanks for that due to the amount of gigs I do at the moment I need something that is light and portable which to be fair the fender is just looking for a change and on the face of it the JB fits the bill
-
Just looking for a bit of info considering a change of amplification currently using a fender rumble 500 watt 210 combo which has served me really well, however I prefer 15's really and the Jeff berlin has caught my eye.
I play in a covers band pretty wide variety of stuff from current to indie to 60's and 70's , we do a mixture of pub gigs and private parties functions weddings etc, generally di but do occasional gigs where the combo would be stand alone.
Be interested to hear from anyone with experience of one of these in terms of tone power etc
Cheers Steve -
Played Orrell live yesterday a local last night of the proms event which finishes with a brass band doing land of hope and glory etc,
We were on at 430 which turned out to be a great slot in between Nathan Moore ex brother beyond and the remaining members of S Club 7 now quaintly renamed S Club party
We were the only full band on so had a great time with the engineers who were excellent so nice to have a big stage to move around on crowd numbering around 2000 we managed to get lots of people down to the front in party mood and dancing played really well did a good one hour set great sound and audience reaction.
Used the jake I have for sale on here as my other one has developed an electrical issue that I didn't have time to fix now thinking about the wisdom of selling it as it sounded great.
Think next weeks pub gig might be a bit of a struggle hahahahaha -
Final price drop bump now £650 posted

Tom
Neck is really well balanced no neck heaviness really is wasted on me because I just don't play it enough,
Cheers steve -
I've got Maruszczyk pick ups in my other bass and to me me these have a more vintage vibe with nice warm tones
