    I've voted for tastefully. Although it's not my favourite style, I enjoy playing it and listening to it. I view it as a way of fusing melody and percussion.

    Hi I'm Dave, I recently got introduced to Basschat to sell my bass rig but have been enjoying the rest of the site too so I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been playing for about 11 years. I started when I was 17 when I was into rock, punk, metal etc. I'm more into funk, jazz and blues these days. I've done my grades, performed and recorded in numerous bands and now do a bit of teaching. I'm currently trying to improve my sight reading and expand my jazz knowledge (any jazz record recommendations would be welcomed). I would say my two favourite bass players are Jaco and Victor but I also enjoy many others. I like them for their philosophy on music and of course their extraordinary technique. I'm playing a Warwick Streamer LX and a Fender Jazz 75 reissue through a Trace Elliot rig which I'm currently trying sell and replace with some Markbass gear. Not that any of that matters. I look forward to contributing to Basschat in the coming weeks.

    Selling my trusty Trace Elliot rig. Bought it new about 9 years ago and it has served me well but I'm now looking for something a bit smaller. It's in fully working condition and has been used for practise, teaching and the occassional gig. Looking for £400 for the pair or £225 for each.
