1. hi all. we play a weird kind of instrumental rock. we are a 3 piece, very bass and drums driven, all the songs are orchestrated to blend into each other, not noise but can get pretty heavy, and pretty at other points. the rescue rooms and the social are both in town, yeah. a notts bass meeting sometime would be cool. oh, and mcgraham, i would love to try a geddy lee, havent had the pleasure yet!
2. ja, shure...100 quid an hour....kidding. this week would be best, but i work late and have no amp...maybe at work?
3.
Oh really? what's the PhD in? Quick question w/ regards the bass, how do you find the nut width and nut and bridge spacing? I'm used to tight spacing both at the bridge and nut along with a ramp so I don't have to move as much, but I'm being more and more tempted by said bass. Mark
critcal theory? i dont have any tools to check the spacing, but the ernie ball musicman forums might have some info... its a nice bass, a few people are interested, but no ones pulled the trigger yet.

10. Hey all! This is still up for sale!!!! my Music man Stingray. Black body, Maple neck, 2-band EQ. Sounds fantastic, feels fantastic. A few dings, nothing major. Its a bit big for me so i don't really play it. Some say the 2 band sounds better that the 3 band, I just know this sounds great. ive had my setup guy check it over and clean it up real nice. also, i can throw in a used hardshell case for it too. looking for 550. im looking for pickup from nottingham, but i might be able to meet? im shure we can arrange somethin'. check the pics at http://rorybohler.googlepages.com/gear ok, thats all. cheers!

12. i don't suppose you wanna trade for a black stingray? mojo and sweet!
13. The 60s jazz and jag are the same wood (alder), then i guess they would be about the same weight-ish. what about finish and hardware? it just seems that the jag was just a better built bass for some reason.
14. hey all! i was wondering if the forumites, could help me out. i've asked this question on other forums but its not really helped, so i thought i would ask here! is there a similarity in build quality from the (MIJ) 60s reissue jazz bass, the geddy lee jazz and the jaguar? one of my students has a jaguar and its super dense feeling compared to my japan jazz bass. i want to buy another jazz, but would like it if the feel, weight, and quality were like the jag, and thats the only one ive tried. any thoughts? cheers
