Wow! That's real purdy.

I bought 2 sets of these not long ago but DR don't seem to do too well with my bass.
I'll take £25 posted for them, they're brand new and boxed, 45 - 105 gauge. -
Might as well get the 5K then. Can't hurt to have an extra knob!

This looks fun. If I ever manage to get a job I'm so buying one!

Having just posted this I've seen the ACG EQ 02. That looks tasty. Can anyone tell me what exactly the passive tone knob does and if its worth having? I'll probably get the EQ02 5K model.

Sorry if this has been discussed a lot before, I've had a search but 'electronics' gives a lot of results!
I've got a Paulman 5 string that I was considering parting with - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=126241. The pickups are currently wired straight to the jack as when the luthier was building it he apparently decided the flame was too nice to spoil with knobs. I've been playing it lots today and now I'm in two minds about getting rid of it (because it's lovely and unique) and while the flame is very nice, I'm now thinking getting an EQ circuit fitted. The thing is I have no idea about the various ones available.
I'd think I'd like 3 band active, pickup blend, volume and maybe a coil tap switch if it'll work with the pickups (the bass has 2 Delano humbuckers). I play finger funk style mainly, with tappy and slappy moments and I want as versatile a setup as I can get, mainly I'll be wanting fat and punchy. Can anyone suggest any/give their experience of any EQ circuits? I'll get Overwater or someone to fit it, definitely not drilling it myself! The back cavity is also pretty small so I may need to have that enlarged for the PCB. -
I use a G30, as do the guitarist and fiddle player in my band, they're brilliant. Never had any issues.
Even better the receiver seems to lock on to a single transmitter. We had a play around some time ago and I'm pretty sure that if I switched my reciever to the guitarist's channel when he was set up my receiver wouldn't pick him up. When you change channel/turn it on it must find a transmitter, pair with it and somehow only use data it gets from that box. Pretty sure that's what happened anyway! -

Cheers dude! You sure you don't want to relive those memories?

Any interest in this?

Bumpity.

They both look awesome. The Red Ripper in particular just made its way onto the wish list. Sadly a job is further up and needs to happen first!

Sorry, thought you meant another one in addition to the BT2 you've already got. Good luck with the sale!
-
pete.young is after one in the wanted section. Try drop him a PM.

I've got one of these. Brill for the price to control a rowdy drummer through the PA!
Have a bump. -
Does your new Jazz take a BT8? I've got one of those for sale on here...
-
That is one lovely looking bass!

Mine's just wandered into the for sale section...

I was at uni in York until last year, I kept meaning to get lessons off Paul Baxter who did jazz stuff at the Black Swan and the Phoenix but I never got round to it.
-
Bit of a longshot probably but would you be interested in this at all?

Yeah the pedal is in perfect working order, no crackles on any of the knobs or the wah, all the settings work and the volume pot is fine. Its very chunkily built, can't see it breaking easily.

I'd like £50 really, it's a fairly chunky beast so postage won't be cheap. Unless you can collect from Halifax/York/Sheffield area?
