1. NYC Sadowsky from approx 2001. Great bass in good condition, set up by the Gallery just last month. Added VTC and Hipshot D-tuner (the correct one, supplied by Rodger) the original parts are included as is the original Sadowsky case. It's a 14 year old bass that has been used so there are a couple of minor knocks, but certainly nothing serious (will supply close ups of these to anyone interested). I'm based in south London and am happy to go the extra mile to place this bass safely in the hands of a new owner, and I will ship if that's the only way to do it (although I'm sure any prospective buyer would want to try it out before parting with their cash!). only appear to be able to upload one photo, so more to follow or can send direct. NOW £1650
2. Gents, any south London-ish bass players out there who would be interested in covering some easy gigs? not massively well paid, but cash and turn up half hour before you play, and out the door 10 mins after you finish!!! There's no rehearsals, so need the ability to busk and already know plenty of tunes. And ideally you'll have a small rig as it's only a two or three piece band in the corner of a pub, and obviously your own transport. private message me with contact details if you're interested, and a brief idea of what sort of similar stuff you might have done etc... thanks!
3. Bass ad ever, and my two year old is about to get his first bass. PM'd.
4. Just sold a bass to Dan, top bloke and a pleasure to deal with! Thanks mate.
5. I'd put them at a medium tension, but I couldn't offer an accurate comparison I'm afraid, but I'm sure someone out there could?...
6. thanks for the comments guys, it is a cracking little amp but I've just got too many at the mo, so bump!
7. stupidly small and light but still delivers a sturdy 200w @ 4 ohms. virtually as new bar a couple of very light marks from being slipped into a bag. 100% working with no crackly pots etc. Originally shipped as a 110v but has been switched (via an internal switch) to 240 for use in Europe, could easily be flicked back to 110 if you fancied using it stateside! £160 posted in original box.
8. I've seen this one in the flesh and can confirm it's a stunner. Sounded pretty special too!
9. Mike recently bought a bass from me and he was a top bloke to deal with.
10. I've had a number of people ask about the body on this bass. It is 100% original including the finish and has no additional routes or holes.
11. possible trades: barefaced compact/purple chilli or similar boutiquey 1x 15 cab + cash my way.
12. ok, time to get this one moving! price drop to £875 or £500 for just the body (not loaded etc). great opportunity if someone wants to restore a re-fin to an original custom colour... up for sale my "players grade" Jazz. I've had this for sale in a shop until recently but unfortunately I feel there were a couple of issues that prevented it selling (wrong year in listing, poor setup and IMO massively overpriced) so, having addressed these issues, I thought I'd offer it up to you good folks. Here's the lowdown: the body is original from '73 including the black finish. the finish is good with only a few dings that go through to the wood and has really cool crazing all over. It has no routing or extra screw holes and the thumb rest/tug bar would mount on the treble side (so early '73). Also from '73 and original to the body are the tuner's, string tree, neck plate (40+++++), strap buttons, control plate, knobs and bridge. The neck was made for me by Luke at Rebel Relic (http://www.rebelrelic.com) and is a very accurate replica of my own '65 Jazz neck and cost me 500 euros (upgraded to pearl dots and dark rosewood veneer fingerboard). It's reliced to match the body and has a lovely broken in feel. Pickguard is from later in the '70's and has had holes added for the different tug bar position. Pickups are from an 80's fender US vintage re-issue. so, definitely not one for the collectors but it is a great bass guitar. I've toyed with the idea of parting it out and I think I could probably get more for it as parts (according to one of the ebay dealers an original finish custom colour body is worth about the same as a fresh kidney!) but it's such a nice instrument I think i'd be happier if it stayed together. please excuse my photography, and do ask if you want more/specific pictures. 13. James now owns my B15, and I'm happy that it's gone to such a lovely chap. I could've drank tea and talked bass with him all evening! Thanks mate, and enjoy (and look after!) it.
