i was originally heading for quarter pounders but the wizards do crop up on here and they look like they will do a similar job. Anyone actually AB'd them? Can anyone give a a review of the Thumpers? Thanks in advance

reading your review, am i right in thinking you place your combo on its side?

had a chance to have a play on the weekend. The thing i noticed most the the settings posted on here were that Deep and Bright were on - i had not done this but by pushing these 2 buttons in the eq i had set came to life and i've now got a sound i like. Thanks for the help

The MAG is great but i'm not quite getting the sounds in my head i want out of it and most of the time i'm just playing on my own so a practice amp is cheaper to run (yes i am that tight!). I'm selling the MAG to replace it with something else, probably a head and cab of some sort but i'm not desperate to get rid of it at any cost. I'll keep it and use it on bigger gigs until i can replace it. As long as the practice amp can keep up with either an accoustic or a quiet electric thats fine by me. I'm not expecting to gig with it and would bre mightily impressed if it would hold its own against a drum kit, which it won't

Well i've just bought aNemesis N8 40 watt with an 8" speaker

i have got a MAG300 combo but it would be nice to have a mellow jam without it!

got this guy from the luthiers thread. Ironically i've been after a tech since i moved and this one is just up the road! Had my bass set up for the first time in 15 years He did a great job and considering the neck was warped the action is super low and the intonation spot on and the fret board super fast! He cleaned 2 of the pots and replace another. Really impressed - going to take my six string accoustic and electric for a set up Top notch service
