1. Okay, one crazy prize drop before I go to bed to see if there are any takers over the weekend. Else, I'm keeping this
2. Isn't it just a +12dB gain? I'm sure its not a tone knob or something, is it?
3. I'm not sure, I haven't opened it up before. It's at the Gallery right now, I'll take a look when I get it back.
4. It's got bass boost/cut +14dB/-4dB @55Hz, treble boost/cut +14dB/-12dB @6,5kHz, volume, volume.
5. Might just keep it and swap the pickups with a pair of EMG 40TW's if I don't get any offer by Monday.
6. Yeah I saw that but I couldn't find any videos or sound clip of the tone. I like the midpunch of j-pickups but some j-pickups just doesn't have a sweet punch.
7. It IS a beauty. I was contemplating slapping a pair of jazz pickups on it and changing the electronics but that'll tkae too much work and will ruin the bass as well.
8. [s]Selling a Spector Euro 5LX which I bought off someone here on BassChat a month back. Previous sale thread: http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 I'm selling this because I'm after more of a jazz bass kind of tone now. The price I'm looking for is £1100 + shipping, negotiable. Willing to trade with a jazz bass of similar price as well, message me. Honestly I'd rather not ship it since I only have a softcase for it unless you're willing to bear the risk. I've shipped a Dingwall across the US before, without any hardcase and it was nerve wrecking. I'm based in Central London and I'm willing to travel any reasonable distance. My feedback: http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1843066 http://www.talkbass....er.php?u=168734 http://feedback.ebay...tab=AllFeedback Edit: Forgot about this, the pickups aren't the TW pickups, so no coil tapping. Edit: Might just keep it and swap the pickups with a pair of EMG 40TW's if I don't get any offers by Monday. Price drop: £999 including shipping. [/s]
9. £85, shipped ParcelForce 48. Paypal non-gift is okay. Bought this just last week. Immaculate condition. Used for not more than 30 minutes in total. No velcro. Battery not included. Selling it because I've decided that I am willing to shell out the extra cash and time to order a MountainKing Magnetar. Edit: Its one of the new ones with space for a right angle plug:
10. Bought a Spector from Sammy. Went to pick it up from Brighton. Great guy to deal with! Very good communication
11. Actually I just don't wanna pay full VAT for a used instrument. I actually did this before, when I bought a Music Man Bongo from the US but I don't know how the seller did it. Of course I'm not gonna declare it SUPER LOW. Maybe 70% of the original price not including the hsipping. Bad idea?
12. So, I'm bidding on a bass on eBay US. The seller and I are trying to work something out, is it possible to insure a bass for a higher value than the declared value? Like if the bass is actually $1000, and we declare the bass to be worth $500 but insure it for $1000. Do customs slap VAT on the insured value or declared value?
13. I have a Finnish made B3K for sale here for £175 including shipping to mainland UK. I'm sure you all know what it is so I'll save the specs/tone speech. It's in excellent condition. No problem with its playability. Cosmetic wise, because of its aluminium construct, I don't even know what's a scratch and what's not. The only marks which I am sure is caused by me is shown in the last pic (see below). A few dings on the corner and this red smudge. 14. I have a EBMM Bongo 5HH Dargie Delight II for sale. Other than a small paint chip on the tip, on the back of the headstock, it's immaculate. It's currently at The Bass Gallery London. I'd rather sell it through them. It's currently going for £1500 but feel free to make any reasonable offer. The Bass Gallery listing: http://www.thebassga...e=Bass%20Guitar (The listing states rosewood fingerboard and sparkly green finish but I've sent an email to correct them, its actually ebony fingerboard and dargie delight II finish, changes from green to red depending on the lighting.) My credentials: http://www.talkbass....er.php?u=168734 http://feedback.ebay...tab=AllFeedback Pics I took personally:
15. Just a note. I just moved to the US so I probably wont be selling or buying here anymore. I'll be on Talkbass though, same username.
