  1. RANT WARNING! Just received my Hercules double bass stand and I'm not a happy bunny. I know, I know, I should've maybe done some more research but the online reviews were all amazing. The stand has no moveable parts which means if you want to play the bass in the stand (which is the reason I bought it) you can only play in the one position. This position is bad. It leans back too much and the bass sits too low in the cradle for me (I'm 6'4). If I extend the spike to my normal height then the stand becomes almost obsolete and 'wobbly'. This means that I can't even use the stand as a stand and take the instrument out to play. So frustrated. Is there anyone who can suggest a way to make this work? Thanks.
  2. Hello friends. So, I'm yet to sell this bass. I've been on tour most of the year and am coming home in 2 weeks so I'll be able to give it a dust down and have a play to make sure it's all in working order. Thanks.
  3. PRICE DROP BUMP £550. This is still for sale but I'm off on tour soon so somebody please take it! Please PM me as I get email notifications from there and often forget to check this feed. Thanks.
  4. Hello. I need a good flight case for an upcoming tour. Gonna have to see some picture though mate. Cheers

  7. I would like to sell this pretty soon, so I'll bring the price down to £650. Cheers.
  8. PM'd you. Now interested in the whole rig. Thanks. Jonnie
  9. Hello! How much would the head go for on its own? Normally, I would snap it all up but this time I'm looking for an 8X10 plus head. Cheers
  10. HELLO. THIS BASS HAS HARDLY BEEN USED SINCE IT WAS BOUGHT. I USED IT A FEW TIMES THEN PUT IN THE CUPBOARD WHERE IT HAS LIVED FOR ABOUT A YEAR WHILE I'VE BEEN OUT PLAYING MY OTHER (normal) BASS. I'M IN SOUTHAMPTON AND WOULD PREFER THIS TO BE COLLECTED BUT WOULD CONSIDER DRIVING TO MEET YOU BUT WOULD NOT WANT TO MAIL IT. THIS WAS £1000 NEW SO I'M LOOKING FOR £700 THANKS PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] http://www.ariauk.com/aria-swb-lite-one-upright-bass/ PICTURES ARE UNAVAILABLE BECAUSE I'M AWAY ON TOUR AT THE MO.

  12. Thanks Mark. Well the jack is mono at the back of the combo. I've also changed the battery on the bass. I'm thinking the speaker may be on the way out. So fraustrating, good job I'm using a D.I. Box so the house PA isn't getting what I'm hearing!! Thanks
  13. Hello. Any comments/help will be appreciated. I'm currently playing bass for the Plymouth pantomime and after 54 performance and only 10 left my amp has developed an annoying problem. Everytime I play an F on the D-string , 3rd fret, the sound produced is bad, and only on this note! I am playing my Lakland through a Trace Elliot 715 SMC I don't know how to describe it in more detail other than that particular note has little to no bass frequencies an distorts. Really frustrating as its been sounding great up til now. Any ideas? Thanks
  14. Can you PM me your address so I can get an accurate quote from paisleyfreight please. I think they're quoting £11.99 + £30 for insurance but that may change when addresses are added.. thanks
  15. I'm interested!!! PM me for my address and we'll go from there!!!
  16. I've had a quote of £42 to send this bass to Glasgow with the option of an added £35 for insurance. Bringing the total to £77.
  17. Yes, shipping to France is possible. PM me if you would like me to organise this...
  18. ok, thanks you miserable cat! Well, seeing as previously I was only asking for £600 and so I don't acquire a dodgy reputation, £600 is what I'm asking for, final answer.
  19. Thanks for pointing that out, it hasn't gone up in value overnight! To be honest, I don't know what to ask for this bass and I'm not allowed to ask for an offer.
  20. Oh, sorry. Didn't check da rules! I would ideally like £800 as I paid £900 just under a year ago and this bass hasn't been gigged much, literally it's done a month on a cruiseship. Thanks
  21. Me again, sorry everyone. The Warwick has a buyer so I'm posting a new ad just for the Spector, I'm open to all offers and please bear in mind this guitar is in great condition, built in 2008 and retailed originally at $3299.99 (about £2,100) I'm not expecting anything near that, neither do I want to be insulted with a really low offer. I also am not looking to trade for another bass, sorry. I am willing to drive to meet the buyer within reason.
  22. [attachment=93622:IMG_0645.jpg][attachment=93623:IMG_0646.jpg][attachment=93624:IMG_0647.jpg][attachment=93625:IMG_0648.jpg][attachment=93626:IMG_0649.jpg][attachment=93627:IMG_0650.jpg] The warwick has been sold (£700) now just the spector Euro LX to go!
  23. Sorry, not interested in any trades. Having some interest on both of these but no-one actually committing yet.... Just noticed the (awful) picture of me playing the spector shows 2 of the pots missing, these are now back on!! Both these basses will also include a good (bass centre) gig bag and a set of rotosound swing bass strings 45-65-80-105-130 (tapered 130)
