1. This is my Behringer BTR2000, mounted atop my Warwick Profet 3.3 head, which drives the Warwick WCA 211 PRO cab. It sounds brilliant but i wont be gigging it until the end of the month.
2. Im gonna go with GLEN BENTON. he isnt very good. just a whole lot of open notes, thrashed strings and the like.

7. , i forgot the ibanez didnt I? hahah
8. right heres all the pics i have. no pics of the westfield. i dont use it so its in my loft. and cba gettin it down. its just a cheap fender. lol. feel free to ask questions.
9. I decided to sell my LD150 combo amp. 150 watts, 1 x 15" speaker, 4 programmable chanels, built in tuner, 6 amp models, foot switch and cable included. really good sound, used it live and recording a couple of times. £150
10. Just Practising a couple of songs from my bands album. I was basically taught each section in the recording room so i could play it well enough to record. never really took it in, so im mastering it for live shows. should be good. www.facebook.com/lostpersonascotland go have a listen
11. Now that i have completed my goal of having a proper live rig i figured id share it with you all. For xmas i recieved a Warwick Pro 211 cab. 400W at 8Ohms sounds pretty good, not had a chance to crank it just yet. Im running that with a Warwick Profet 3.3 head which delivers 300W at 8Ohms, the head and the cab compliment each other perfectly and i love the sounds you can get from the head. Im playing a Westfield P bass copy, i rarely use this. infact i haven't used it in years. I have a Yamaha RBX 375, It was my first 5 string and is in need of repair, it eats batteries and has a dodgy jack so as soon as i get the money i will get it fixed. A Vintage 2005 5 string bass, i think its a cheaper version of an ESP or something, i dunno, il let u guys judge when i get the pictures uploaded. I was given an Ibanez 1979 Roadster bass just recently, i had an issue with fret buzz as posted previously, i used it live a week or so ago and it was impressive. But my most recent new bass is the Traben Array Attack, 4 string bass, its beautiful, its light but has awesome tone, provided by the trademark Bigger Bridge Bigger Tone design. il post some pictures later on and let you all have a look. thanks Gareth
12. Heres some photos of me using the bass live for the first time.
13. Using it Live tonight for the first time in its 30 year history hahaha. Gonna be Playing at Capitol on Sauchiehall Street Glasgow. Should sound pretty awesome. Iv been using it through my Line 6 LD150 amp the past couple of days and its sounding soo soo good. shame theres still some fret buzz on the A string, but no where near as bad. too scared to touch the bridge and alter string heights. Il let you know how it goes. but if anyone wants to see it in the flesh ( so to speak) then come along tonight. Il be there from 6pm
14.
Ah - Captain Thicky Mc Thickster reporting for duty! Sorry - didn't realise pics had been added - not sure how I missed them... Anyway, this is a rare one, never seen this model before and can't find a pic in any of the old catalogues. However, the closest relation I can find is a Roadster RS820 in this catalogue: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/anniversary/expans...id=44&now=3 So following the Ibanez naming convention (8 prefix = passive, 9 = active), this one should be an RS920. Definitely never seen this before, I doubt there are many around, looks like this is a short-lived predecessor to the P/J equipped RS924, which I have. J.
I know what u mean about not being able to find pictures of any like it. It's active, 2 pick ups instead of the usual 1 pick up, sounds awesome and is the same model that Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy once used before switching to the Fender P Bass
15. FIXED IT, THATS IT FIXED. Thanks to everyone who made a suggestion, a combination of moving the string down the machinehead, and lining the nut with some superglue, cured the problem straight off. gonna go gigging. Who ever said they wanted to buy this bass, make me an offer and il think about it.
16.
Ahhhhhhhhh, now I know what the problem is . . . . . . . Sell it to me and wash all your worries away!! Nice bass. Now, payment made out to . . . . . . ??? Hold me back!! Cheers.
Hahaha. Sorry FlatEric, but im not selling it, im desperate to get it fixed and get it out on the live circuit with my band, should sound awesome, i can tell its got some weighty tones in there judging by the fact that it needs a forklift to carry it around Any solutions?
17.
New nut is an easy task, but there could be a variety of different reasons for fret buzz. Is it only on open strings, has it always done this? BTW if it's 1979 it will be a Roadster, not a Roadstar. Show us a pic or two. Jon.
It has been like this since i got it a couple of months ago. thought it was the fact the strings were old, changed the strings, no change, put my finger over the offending string on the nut and it cures the problem.
18. Heres a few pictures of the offending instrument. i cant wait til i get it all up and running properly. You dont see too many with 2 pick ups though. September 1979, 2570th model made.
19. I have a 1979 Ibanez Roadstar bass. It has horrible fret buzz and i've located the problem. Im sure its the Nut at the top of the neck ( the bit the strings go through before going round the machineheads. Does anyone have any experience in fixing this problem, im not really sure how to approach this. replies will be much appreciated.
20. I own a Warwick ProFet 3.3 head. It delivers 300W at 4 Ohms. can any one recommend a cab to go with it. Im currently looking at a Gallien Krueger 410BLX which is 400W at 8 ohms. OR A Peavey TVX 410 EX which has 350 Watts continuous, 700 Watts program. at 4 Ohms. but also available at 8 ohms. can any one help me out. also whats the deal with losing power between a 4 ohm head and an 8 ohm cab. Thanks
21. At our local studio they have: Ampeg SVT CL Classic Heads Ampeg SVT 810 Cabs or Peavey Nitro head and cabinet. I used to prefer the ampeg set up to the peavey. But now i use my own head. so far only on the ampeg cab. I use a Warwick proFET 3.3 and it sounds awesome through the 810 cab.
