How did you pay for the goods? If on a debit or credit card contact your card issuer and ask them to instigate a chargeback for goods not received. I know there’s the frustration of a previously good seller letting you down, but it’s not for you to chase this with the courier, and I wouldn’t persevere with that anyway personally, as it’s likely to result in much success IME.

I'm frustrated because it's a seller I have used for a few years with no issues, and I like what they do. Its a disappointment they aren't being more helpful.

I ordered £100 worth of SIS cables that were couriered by DHL. They never turned up, but I received an email saying they had been delivered to *my surname* (they had not). I checked with my neighbour who coincidentally shares my surname, but he didn't have it. I asked my other neighbours, the same story. I've contacted the seller and they've told to contact DHL.
Now I've done some reading and Citizen's Advice says if I didn't agree to my parcel being delivered to alternative location it's the seller's responsibility to make sure it get's delivered, and would be liable for a refund if DHL fails to deliver it. However, the caveat is that if I agreed to the T&Cs, then they are not liable. Here's my question: by buying from the seller, have I agreed to DHL's T&Cs? Which, by the way, are essentially that DHL can do and say whatever they want and you can't do anything about it.

A great nasty fuzz pedal. No signs of wear, and only used at home. The Fuzz knob seems to have a dead spot, I'd guess 1-2mm just before its up full. I'm looking into it, but if you want it and know how to fix it...
Comes with original box.
Selling to make buying a house about 0.00000013% easier.
£5 postage to mainland UK.

I didn't know you had one. Hmmmm, that's interesting. I'm going to order one next week. I figure if I don't like it I won't have any trouble selling it.
For sure! You'll get the purchase money back if not the taxes/duty.

I put the HX Stomp on my board last week, I did a get gigs with it this week and I'm really not convinced. I spent ages making some patches that sounded great at home, and at the gigs they've sounded too tippy and much louder. If that was a pedal I could quickly nudge it, but that's not really possible with the Hx.
What's everyone's thoughts on the Le Bass. I'm about to pull the trigger on ordering a Noble preamp. Should I save money (and 10 months) and pick up a 2 notes?
The Le Bass certainly looks to be more versatile than the Noble, but the one thing the Noble does it does RREEEEAAAAAALLLLLLYYYYYYY well. I've only had mine for a couple of months but already its a must have in my rig.

I've used short scales exclusively since 2015 when I got my Callowhill, can't go back now 😂

So, this short-scale thing.....?
Never owned one until last week, in fact AFAIK I'd never even played one. But then @d_g listed this baby and I really found myself drawn.
OK, I expected to be able to play things more easily, essentially like having larger hands which is nice. But the tone is awesome, full, fat and fast, helped along by buttery flats, Nordies and a rather nice tone circuit. A 60's Motown/70's funk machine, easy to play, looks great and weighs about the same as a bag of Walkers Salt & Vinegar. Only problem is that the neck is so bloody thin and short I'm not sure I will ever habituate fully. But I'm going to give it a damn good try
I remember seeing that one, its cool af!

Made a few changes since the last time I posted. I've swapped out the TC flashback for the Solidgoldfx EM-iii delay, which has a high pass filter and a feedback function. I've also swapped the Tru-fi Super Fuzz for the Colordriver. The main addition is the Noble Preamp that arrived on Wednesday. It's a tight squeeze! And it has to go upside down! But it sounds amazing (as expected) and means I can go full in-ears if need be (when the short XLR I ordered shows up).

Mine is on its way, should have it next week. Jack was even considerate enough to check if I really needed the pelican case, which I decided I didn't - I plan for it to be on either of my boards all the time. He seems like a really genuine dude, only in it to make a great product.
I'll let you know the import costs!

I've been looking at delays (yes, I know, blasphemy on bass). I have a TC Flashback but I want one that can do momentary feedback, and also has a HPF. Lo and behold, SolidGoldFX make the EM-iii multi-head echo, which does both, plus other stuff. But xmas is coming up and I'm saving for a new house... 😔

They look a bit home made.
That's what I like about them 😅

They're lovely, quirky looking things but I'm not sure I'd want one as my main instrument and they're not so cheap that I could have one just to have something a bit different in the collection.
Yeah same. It'd be a cool novelty.

Anyone seen or played one of these before? They remind me of Japanese basses from the 60s. And pretty reasonably priced for handbuilt instruments.
