I am using a Barefaced Compact with a Markbass f1 and playing a Victor Bailey jazz bass, great punchy tone from this rig,but find when I do need more volume on the odd bigger gig the compact seems to loss the nice fat sound and sounds clanky or dinky,just wondering if any else has had the same problem.Many Thanks.

Yes the aer has a line out and a sub out.

I have an aer amp one which is great for most gigs, but for some gigs I could do with a bit more stage volume and as I have a bag end s 15 d cab,just wondering is there a power amp I could get that I could use to go from the aer amp to the bag end cab as you cannot connect an ext cab to the aer amp one,it has to be apowered sub or active cab,hence I need an amp to drive the bag end cab.Appreciate any advice on this.Many thanks.Sean.

Yes only reason im using the Aer combo is because of its tone,and using the markbass and 15 cab for a bit more volume,just wondered would the Aer be ok being linked to the markbass when its linked to the two cabs making it 4 ohms. Maybe it might make more sense just linking the Aer one combo to another combo of some sort, would love another Aer one but they are expensive. H as anyone ever tried linking the Aer one to a cheaper combo wonder how it would sound.Thanks.

Hi there. Looking advice on this, can I damage my Aer amp one combo by going from the line out to markbass f1 and linking it to two Bag End s15 8 ohm cabs. On some loud band gigs I do ,I normally use one Bag End cab linked to the Aer one combo via the f1 for a bit more volume.Just wondering if its ok for the Aer combo to do the same thing using two cabs.Any advice,thanks in advance.

Hi there I hope someone can help me.Recently bought a second hand Aer one bass combo,its going perfect apart from the fan not coming on.It used to come on as soon as I turned the amp on,so im wondering can I do damage to it,as I noticed it getting hot after a 2 hour gig,and also is it an easy fix finding and replacing the fan.The amp is just over a year old and was bought off Thomann, so I could check with the seller about the guarantee on it.Would prefer to get it fixed myself rather than sending it back to Thomann.Greatly appreciate any help or advice on this.Thanks.

Have to agree on this. I bought a bass off Alex and it was a pleasure with no hassle .Alex is a genuine bloke,and when the bass arrived it was so well packed.Highly recommend him and would have no problem dealing with Alex again.
