KiOgon (username) on here can knock you up an excellent quality circuit that does exactly what you want.
Failing that you'll need a dual 250kΩ (or 500kΩ) potentiometer and wire it like this:
The two 'sources' are your hot pickup wires.

I generally do the under over twist, it seems to work best
Me too. My main cable is over 30 years old, so something is working!

It’ll be the colour of the screws next?
Chrome screws are brighter sounding than Black ones? 😂😂
Unless they’re a left-hand thread, but everyone knows that!

Yeah wondered about that. He was dancing around enough with it
Nobody can dance with a Wal slung around their neck!

I kinda respect his choice due to smoothness of two Alembic's humbuckers. However, you cannot duplicate a StingRay slap tone.
I like Wal sound on Blood Sugar Sex Magik. But the slap tone in "Naked In The Rain"? He should also use a StingRay!
I think the only track on BSSM that was a stingray was the 5 String on ‘The righteous and the wicked’, everything else was the Wal.

I can heartily recommend the iReal app for learning standards and walking, though it’s Mac only.

I do some backing shouting.
With our particular style of punk / metal crossover I don't need to be able to hold perfect pitch or make the lyrics understandable. I just have to get the timing and general attitude right.
It’s surprising how well the ‘shouting at approximate pitch’ approach works!

I got coerced into BVs during my tenure in a metal band, and really enjoy doing them now. I’ve known from a young age that Pavarotti was never going to lose any sleep over my vocal ‘abilities’, but well placed harmonies can often mean the difference between a good live band and a great live band.

I've avoided using a compressor for years, and tend to favour a HPF over an actual compressor. I fire mine (Emma Discombobulator) on for slap passages as it's set to a fast attack time and quite a heavy compression.

One fretted, one fretless. Identical models apart from the ‘speed bumps’ - ensures I don’t have to muck about with eq settings or compressor thresholds etc…

Seriously that came from Fender?
Yup. I went back to watch the video and to be fair, after about a minute she DOES play a Jazz… with the bridge pickup dialled all the way back so it just sounds similar to the P bass. Awesome.

"Wow, that guy's bass looks and sounds awesome, but I don't recognise the headstock!"
"Me neither. I think the logo is... drawn on with sharpie? And the tuners are mounted in this supercool fan pattern! I want one."
...ideally one where the bridge is hanging off the ârsę end of it!
