Hi all Up for sale here is one of my own builds. There are quite a few basschatters now with my builds/nitro finishes so I’m happy to put you in touch with them if you’d like feedback on the fit and finish of these. This one is made up of top quality parts and comes in at 8.6lbs/9kg. I can also sell it with one of the amazing Novak Vintage Correct Goldfoil pickups but that will add £100 or so to the price. Open to offers. Let me know if you have any questions, it’s a lovely bass. Brilliant chunky Allparts neck with hand rolled fingerboard edges and a nice satin finish to the back. The lollar hum cancelling pickup gets that raw single coil P sound without the noise! Spec below: - Allparts Fender Licensed Neck with Fender Decal THIS IS NOT A FENDER BASS - 100% nitro black over sunburst finish with lots of lacquer checking - 3 Piece Lightweight Alder Body - Heavy Knurled Relic Knobs and Control Plate - Fender Bridge - Gotoh Relic Tuners and Strap Buttons - Graphtech nut - Lollar Hum Cancelling Pickup - Reliced vintage style flat head screws throughout

Selling this neck that I bought for a project that never happened. It’s from a Squier P Cabronite Bass (Indonesia) so will be perfect for 51P, 54P, Mike Dirnt, Tele Bass projects. Very comfy to play. Some marks around the heel where it has been squeezed into a neck pocket at some point but works perfectly. £150. Pickup from Chessington/London preferred but could also ship. Thanks

Now £295 + postage. Pickup from Chessington or I can meet in London/The South East for petrol money. Cheers Dan

Agreed, I find faith the both pickups open the stock parallel sound is great. I would like a solo neck pickup sound more in the realm of a P bass so hoping either series or single coil will get me closer than the current parallel setup

Hi all, looking for a bit of wiring help here. I recently got hold of a 79 Sabre for a price in only triple figures. It's needed a bit of TLC but fully working now. Like a lot of people I'm not fussed about the phase switch and am wondering about making it into something more useful like a series parallel switch. I wondered whether anyone would be able to help with: 1. Diagram for removing the phase switch from the circuit altogether 2. How to convert neck pickup to 4 wires (I think I just need to cut and extend the wires that join the pickups but I'd like to check! 3. How to wire up the phase switch for use as a series/parallel for the neck pickup OR how to use a new DPDT on/on/on switch do do series/parallel and single coil in the same spot. Thanks in advance! Dan
