Hi all, appreciate this may be a long shot but looking to trade this jazz bass neck for a B Width (1 5/8” nut) Rosewood Precision neck. Would consider: - 60s neck with cash your way - 70s neck with cash either way - 80s neck with cash my way (and would want to try it first) - Other B width neck with reasonably chunky profile. Would also consider a sale but am in no rush. Details on this neck. 1972 with lovely U Shape profile, blocks and binding. Stunning checking on headstock, plays great and truss rod works as it should. Has extra holes in headstock for Hipshot Ultralites but these are covered up by the standard Fender Style Tuners/Gotoh FB30 or similar. The date stamp is no longer visible. You can just about see the name stamp and this was bought from Walshy on here who will vouch for its authenticity. Some usual marks to the back but overall very good condition. and here are the pics! It will sell with the four original tuners (not the X-Tender pictured). The nut has been replaced since these photos were taken and new genuine Musicman mute pads have been added. All original except for the nut and mute pads which have both been replaced. Selling this neck that I bought for a project that never happened. It’s from a Squier P Cabronite Bass (Indonesia) so will be perfect for 51P, 54P, Mike Dirnt, Tele Bass projects. Very comfy to play. Some marks around the heel where it has been squeezed into a neck pocket at some point but works perfectly. £150. Pickup from Chessington/London preferred but could also ship. Thanks
