Looking forward to the book Stu. Amazing that there's been very little in the way of books/transcriptions of my two favourite bassists and then in the space of a couple of months, along they come. (By the way, feel free to do another book on Marcus)
Bloomin' marvelous

Hi All,
I've decided to have a bit of a 'thinning' out of my basses so I'm going to let one of my Fretless' go.
Up for grabs is a MIM Fender Jazz Fretless. I bought this from the original purchaser who bought it from the Bass Centre in December 2006. They put some Rotosound Swingbass strings on it and it comes with a Warwick soft bag and a hard case which has seen better days on the outside but is fine inside. The neck has fret lines marked on it ( ideal for us fretless beginners) and is in very good condition. The photos don't really show the colour off but I understand it's called 'Candy Apple Red' which I would call 'Wine Red'.
Looking for £250.00 ovno
Cheers,
Jim

I seem to remember that Freeze are part of a brit funk reunion gig at the Jazz Cafe, Camden in December.

Yep,sorry.

Well I've always limited myself to my Stingray, Yamaha Fretless and and Aria Acoustic but I've also just picked up a Washburn Status and I've got a bit of GAS for a Jazz (mainly because I've never had one).....oh and just picked up one of those six string Fender Strats to dabble on.

Well, I was there and I thought they did a pretty good job of it. I'm never a fan of stadium gigs myself but it was as good as I've seen and I managed to re-live my youth for a couple of hours!

Hi All,
Before it goes on evilbay, I have a Boss GT6B Multi Effects unit for sale. Good condition with only a couple of very minor marks.
It has the original power supply and I've downloaded a copy of the user manual from the website which I'll include.
I'm looking for £125 + postage.
More info on the unit can be found here www.bossus.com/index.asp?pg=1&tmp=110
Cheers,

I've been running a LMK and a MB 102P and I've just added a MB 151P. After a little bit of twiddling the settings, it's now sounding clear and punchy. Also, good quality cables have added to the all round clarity !
Cheers,
Jim
Bernard Edwards Solo Albums

I managed to get a CD of 'Glad To Be Here' from Japan last year for about £20. I'm glad I didn't pay anymore for it as I'm a Bernard fan but far too much 80's synth bass for my liking. I guess it was more about his songwriting then his playing on this album but it's not a patch on the stuff that he did with Nile Rodgers.
Cheers,
Jim
