1.
I just bought a beautiful arctic white standard fender precision (mexico) and i'm thinking about changing the standard bridge to a badass bridge!
is it really worth the money??
    i've never modified any bass.
If you have a look above your post, BOD2 has Badass bridge post pinned. so all the info you need could be there. :)

  2. Just been trying to reply to a post in ebay links. i copied and pasted an ebay link item number and a comment and clicked preview, everything looked ok, but i could not find an option to post, tried add reply and quote reply still nothing, am i doing something wrong?

i didn't bother previewing this, just clicked on post.

  4. They do make some lovely basses, i've been looking at these. not everyone's cup of tea, http://deviser.co.jp/bacchus/archives/2007...dline_turb.html

  6.
Obviously they are not as endemic as Precisions, Jazzs ,Rickenbackers etc but....

If you drive a BMW you notice other BMWs. If you drive a Mercedes, you notice other Mercedes. I see loads of bass players using Warwicks, but I notice them because that's what I play. You notice people playing what you play.

    What do you play?
Nice one. bought a Rover and a week later the cylinder head gasket went on it, guy in work said if you had asked me i would have said don't buy it, it's the garage now getting fixed. all of a sudden alll i see on the road is Rovers like my mine! Jack Bruce seems to like Warwick, argue with him.

  7.
Chances are if one drivers gone the others might not be far behind considering they've all had the same use or abuse.Prepare to have to change or recone all of them.
You could be right, that had'nt crossed my mind, it's about twelve years old so there is a possability.

  8. This is new territory for me so aplogies if my questions are a bit inane. is replacing a a blown 10 inch speaker in a combo a straitforward affair or is it best left to someone who knows what they are doing?
in this case its a trace 4x10, do you need an exact speaker as a replacement or would any 10inch do.
i suppose i could google but what's the average cost a speaker. thanks.

  9. I have no idea if this is of any use or not :)

1million midi files for sax, drum and k/board for a BIN price of under £3.

  10. As someone mentioned earlier in this thread it's what the song calls for really. it's no good doing a Snow patrol song and then trying to play like Jack bruce in the background, it ain't going to work! we do that Edwyn collins thing, never met a girl like you or whatever it's called, when the songs up next our drummer says to me, right it's i spy time :) . the bass and drums are repetative but thats the song.

  11.
Oh you mean you were thinking of seeing this? In its completed state?
I can't find your original post about your build ARGH, i took this pic at Music Live in Birmingham couple of years ago, is it anything like this?

  12. I don't no swqat about Wawicks really but i googled what i thought was a similar bass and that was going for over £400 in a sale. So what about this one,

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/warwick-5-string-roc...3QQcmdZViewItem

  13. The oxfam Arbiter finally went for £460, which would go a long way to getting a decent bass, that one could be decent, but you know what i mean, glad i didn't bid on it really, as the cylinder head gasket went on my car today, quoted £400 to get it fixed :) @;##".g cars!

  14. I've noticed Paul Maccartney's strap set up is a bit weird, it seems to go behind the neck somehow.
i had a better pic but lost it somewhere, this isa bit grainey.

  15.
The Oxfam Arbiter is now over £250 with 4 days still left on it...oh well.
I'm thinking about bidding on that Arbiter, but with seventeen people or more bidding it may sloooowly go for a bit more than i'd care to pay.

  16. I remember buying crap records from woolies, they were not by the origianal artistes, but copies of top twenty records. here's an early pic of a woolies music shop. (at the bottom)
