3.
I just put up some Monster Bass Cables on ebay here:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...p;rd=1&rd=1

I don't really know what their second hand price would be, which is why I've put them up for 99p, but you're welcome to make offers.

  4.
Well just to prove myself wrong (re. my earlier affirmation that I don't like big flat slabs of wood with the word Fender on the headstock), I've bought a friend's Jazz. Guess what... I don't like it! Why do I keep doing this to myself. I grew up on Jazzes and up until I got my first Warwick I would have argued that the Jazz was the best and most versatile bass readily available. I keep convincing myself that they are great basses and I should own one, I try them out and think 'Yeh, I need one of those in my armoury' and then I live with it for a week and long for my Warwick.

Please, please, please can those people on here who know me stop me from asking questions on BC about Fenders for sale and refer me back to this thread!

    Ta.
Was this after you saw Earl Hickeys burst Jazz?, when's it up for sale :)

  5.
A big hello to all Basschat Lefties. After speaking to Bigash and Lefty 68 we thought it would be a good idea to see how many of us there are in the membership, seeing as there are almost 1000! members there should be more than just 3! So if you're out there get in touch. Chees Steve. Sorry I forgot Qfunk :)
There was this thread not long back.

if you want to pm me an address ill try and copy the programme and send you a disc.

  7. I'd love to play it just to see what makes it that kind of price. but blue does'nt do it for me.

  8. On the way to a gig in Shrewsbury in the seventies,(it was a youth club thing which we did every month) i asked the band jokingly to drop me off at the Music hall to see Free who were appearing there that night, which they promptly did. i was playing keyboards then, Free were very late going on and i was still queing when i though sod this i'm going to miss the band and a lift home, so much to my embarresment as the queue began to move i quit and waited outside for the band, and waited, and waited, i fanally gave up waiting and phoned home, after an hour my lift turned up and so did the band who were late going on also. didn't get to see Free. and had a bollickin off a family member in front of the band, it was only in later years did i wonder why they let me go. was i that bad? :)
