4. Hello For sale my Lakland 44-94, made in USA, mint condition with OHSC alder body, birdeye maple fingerboard. 1650 GBP or 2300 euros plus shipping Trades only with vintage PBass or JBass. This is the bass that started Lakland down the path to boutique bliss! Designed to reside squarely between an American classic and a modern favorite, the 44-94 Deluxe is a tone machine that genre hops at your leisure. The split MM pickup delivers modern rock tones, while the "jazzy" neck pickup offers up a sound that is firmly rooted in the vintage side of things. Tonally, the 44-94 Deluxe is a home run, but it's the uber-comfortable neck that really makes this a supreme instrument. The 44-94 Deluxe is the culmination of the finest electric bass features of all time, but refined and tweaked to Lakland's standards. The result is a stunning bass that plays like a well-loved vintage bass, but is simultaneously versatile enough to fit the needs of any modern bassist. Thank you

Now no longer available but sought after: Neck thru, string through active bartolini pick ups. I have used and owned many basses and this is my favourite. See-thru black finish is awesome 5.0 The best bass I have used and owned By Bass Dude Who's Awesome from Princeton, NJ Follow me I have owned this bass for about a year now and still (and I hope always will) play like it did the day I tried in the store. The 24 frets are very easy to access, and it has a thru neck, which I look for in a bass. As an added bonus it has Bartolini pickups, which is always good. This is a great bass with a great tone for any style and can be used for practicing in a living room or in a gig. 5.0 Best Bass I've Played By RulesofWarBass from Massachusetts Follow me I love this bass. There is nothing that it can't do. When I got it I only played it in regular tuning, playing rock and pop punk. It sounded great. Now I'm playing hardcore and metalcore in drop C, yes drop C. It sounds even better. The EQ on the bass makes it growl amazingly. The 24 frets are all usable. The only thing that this bass could have that it doesn't would be a switch to go from active pickups to passive if your battery dies, but that's not a big issue. 5.0 Smooth, Light, and comfortable By Scuds520 from New York, NY Follow me I fell in love with this bass when I saw it. The body of this bass is concave, and fits against the player?s body very comfortably. The neck is long and smooth, 24 frets are easily navigated all the way up top. This bass has a powerhouse set of active pick-ups and with the low, mid, hi, volume, pickup controls... this bass is an extremely versatile instrument! 5.0 Amazing By Greasy Bassist-ZEoer from Near SF CA Follow me I played this bass today at a store and I was amazed. The SR900 is the most playable instrument I have ever played. All the frets are easily accessible which is a huge issue with quite a few other basses. The neck is fast and the action is better than any other. It played better than a Rickenbacker 4003, a deluxe Fender Precision bass, a fretless Fender jazz bass, and even a $3800 custom bass that was there. Playability is through the roof. I was so impressed by how well it played that I didnt pay too much attention to sound but it has Bartoloni pickups so you can be sure that it sounds good. My only issue with it is that there are no solid colors available. What ever happened to plain black without any goofy patterns? If you dont mind that then you must have this bass. 5.0 kickaxe bass By downshifter from Denver, CO Follow me I got a deal on this bass at a local shop. It was 'more' bass than I wanted or needed to buy, but I am so glad I did. The SR900 is a top-notch intstrument, inspiring to play, with amazing and versatile sound. While it has many similar features as the cheaper SR500, the improvements over that model really kick it up the ladder: neck-thru construction, maple body, through-body stringing, more durable finish. The SR900 has incredible sustain and tone-- piano-like, clear, full, but able to get edgy and dirty. Definitely a 'modern' bass sound. The Bartolini electronics give ample opportunity to shape the sound. Works great for most musical styles--rock, jazz, country, etc. I'm not a slapper so I can't speak to that. Ibanez did a great job with this one. 5.0 Frickin' Incredible By Jeff Dahmer from Healdsburg, CA Follow me The title says it all. The Ibanez SR900 is truly an amazing instrument, especially for a bass under $1,000. The neck is very slim, like a Jazz bass, and has a somewhat similar, but much more beefy, tone. The Bartolini pickups and preamp belt out lots of delicious tones suitable for all styles of music, from a griding, thick metal tone to a huge, round dub thump, the SR900 does it all. The action is nice and low, like it should be, and the bridge is easily adjustable. This bass also has a "tummy contour," which is when the body curves to fit around a belly. You will not be disappointed in this bass; I couldn't find any real problems with it.
  10. Hello In mint condition Overwater By Tanglewood Aspiration Deluxe Transparent Black Chris May, whose Overwater Custom Bass Guitar Brand has just celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, has teamed up with Tanglewood Guitars to create the Aspiration series range of Bass Guitars designed and overseen by the man himself. Overwater Basses are among the most revered in the world and are played by Professionals the world over in all walks of music, and Chris has been keen to bring them into a more accessible price range for some time. So what are they like? Chris has obviously looked at the other famous high end Bass builders that he shares the arena with, and looked at their approach to an affordable production instrument, think Sadowsky Metro, Ken Smith K.S.D, Lakland Skyline. When put in comparison, the Overwaters don`t disappoint! Build quality is very high, great wood choices, with bespoke hardware and pickups, and no cheap universal pattern parts used at all. So to sum up, having used the hand built through neck custom made UK models many times, the production versions really stand their ground, amazing, playable actions with very hi fi sounding pickups and preamp, all designed by pickup technician, Alan Entwistle and bass electronics `guru’ John East. Specifications TYPE: Aspiration Deluxe 5 String Bass BODY: White Ash with Flame Maple Facing NECK (MATERIAL): Maple, Natural Satin NECK (BUILD): 3 Piece FINGERBOARD: Rosewood, 24 Fret NUT (WIDTH): ABS Black (40mm) SCALE LENGTH: 34 inch Scale MACHINE HEADS: Gotoh Style Mini BACKPLATE: Black FINISH: Transparent Red Gloss PICKUPS: Active 3 Band | Overwater 'Soapbars' CONTROLS: Vol (Pull Bright) | Pan | 3 Band EQ THANK YOU
