  1. https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/29338-mike-brooks/#findComment-5554881 Feedback from Mike Brooks - Brooksy's Bass Corner
  2. Sold my G&L L2000 to Mike today. Really nice guy to do business with. Very genuine and a real gent. Aside from the sale; he's got some great stories about gigging, musicians and the bass business. The sale was very smooth and a pleasure to meet Mike!
  3. The neck is narrowish near the headstock. Bit jazz bass style. Yes, great tonal options and punchy.
  4. Thanks but looking for a straight sale. Cheers
  5. Markbass Travellor 1 x 15, 400 watt, 8ohm cab. In great condition. Hardly gigged. REDUCED TO £210.00 Collection only or can meet within reasonable distance.
  6. Brand new replacement bridge saddle set for Stingray Special. Unopened/still in sealed package. £30.00, plus postage.
  7. Thanks for the comment. I always preferred the idea of 35inch scale length on the B, but the break angle on the bridge creates a lot of tension and the B is very well defined and focused.
  8. I agree. The necks are great and very light basses. This one's set up with light gauge strings so great for slapping. I was planning to sell this but changed my mind as its a lot of bass for not much cost. Thanks for the comment.
  9. Sold my GWB35 to Woody and a very smooth transaction. Great communication and would be more than happy to deal with again. Highly recommended and trustworthy. A real gent!
  10. Yes, did it myself. Chiselled out some of the wood beneath the pickup to enable it to go lower as was aiming for the Willis thing - low action and light touch. Unfortunately, Basswood is very light and a mishap on my part led to the section chipping off. Here's another angle on that section.
  11. Thanks for the comments Guys. Appreciated
  12. Simon is an absolute gent! Communication was brilliant. Payment went well. We arranged to meet and exchange the bass and that went very smoothly. Above that; a really nice guy to chat to and totally genuine. Would highly recommend Simon and would be more than happy to deal with again https://www.basschat.co.uk/profile/14350-sime17/
  13. Pm'd thanks. Hilarious comment from Owen BTW.
  14. Cheers. Nice bass, but has to go.
